she just crushed on him in school and still does, i don't think it's really that deep it's more that she is at her core a common trope in kdrama that we see often, her behavior doesn't need to make sense as long as it serves as a hurdle for the main characters to overcome or as a plot device to add tension.

this ^^^ let us remember what genre we're in. characters act accordingly to the framework they're in, it's the same as asking "why are they so serious" in a dark thriller or why "why are they always emotional and crying" in a melodrama.

ikr :') i liked her actress a lot in call it love, but it definitely seems like here she is the 2fl who will go to the ends of the earth to make the ml like her, even when the odds have been stacked against her since the beginning. i'm not fond of this trope but i do hope the drama does something interesting with her character still

also the flashbacks fucked me up. they have so much history together. loved each other so much (and jihye deleting the messages??? EVIL) and fate was so cruel to them. and i cannot believe seok jiwon was the one who pulled them both back on the rooftop !!! IF ONLY SHE KNEW 😭😭😭

obsessed with this show!! can't wait to see more developments between 2jiwon happening now that they're basically roommates lol 💞 the romance genre is treating me so well these days
