oh i have my sources too but cinema going is just a whole seperate thing for me. if i can i prefer to watch movies that way. the few times they show korean movies at festivals in my area i always make sure to go.

if there's one thing that *always* throws me off it's when seokji's father and yoonji's grandfather are in the same scene - they're not supposed to be the same age at all but they look way too close in age. in fact the actors are only 7 years apart 🤣🤣 casting director had a major oopsie there

just saw the teaser and ... pls stop putting adults in high school uniforms 😭 yes sometimes it works but here it definitely didn't imo

i really came to like it, it's supposed to have the feel of a dim sunset glow according to the director and i think they nailed it

100% if you wish upon me. it's his most underrated show and one where he shines the most acting/emotion wise imo. just a warning it's quite a heavy drama

you're totally right about the second paragraph and i agree with everything you said. idk if many of the people who've complained about the adult leads have actually watched older western romcoms because the adults there too can be immature and petty when they interact because it's in the name of the genre and the relationship they're in.
also, it gets so so much more emotional in the coming episodes!! there's more that happens in their younger timeline and some of it really broke me..

i'm not ready 😭

1. the last thing the younger one (sunhae) said to her lover (hyewon) during their fight was that she never wanted to see her again and to get out of her sight. hyewon honors that and sits behind her in the bus, and protects her from behind during the accident. after she dies she only ever appears behind sunhae as a ghost, never in front of her.
2. we do not see hyunju in the hospital iirc but your first assumption should be correct, because we know only her mom died out of the two. her mom, during the 3 days she has left, without being able to speak due to her mouth being stuffed with cotton already, keeps making her daughter buy light bulbs at the shop, likely for her to find back to life and wake up. the light bulbs represent people's souls or their will to live.

and then the way ep 6 starts with him on the floor HELP. i love this show so much peak comedy, peak romance, peak soundtrack, peak casting (anyone who's still complaining abt the adult leads can go home im sorry)

i love how ju ji hoon is in two absolute top tier year-end dramas he really said i will have the last laugh lol

catching up and i just finished ep 5 AND OH MY GOD. I HAVEN'T SEEN A GOOD SICK TROPE IN A DRAMA IN SO LONG AND THIS WAS SO SO SO GOOD 😭

the horror doesn't last long at all, imo you should because the story is a masterpiece

it is, only the first few episodes are really thriller and horror, the drama kind of purposely misleads you in that regard but the story is a human drama at its core and you'll understand why after the midway point. there are also mans bits and pieces that at the start were confusing but were actually hints and start to make lots of sense after that (this is definitely the type of drama that is more rewarding if you rewatch it!)
