yeah it was! jtbc probably saw their gayo performance and wanted to give the show a chance lol. but in all seriousness, this show proves to me that romcom isnt as easy a genre to act in as most people would like to believe. yoona and junho served absolute romcom masterclass and their chemistry was like lightning in a bottle. i dont think the show wouldve succeeded as much as it did if wasn't for these two.

i had the chance to get ahold of the blu ray contents and wow... not to say the drama itself was worse (because it was fantastic) but damn, watching the BR is almost more fun! junho and yoona really did well as leads. like insanely well. so many fun/romantic takes that did not make the cut, they really have such amazing chemistry. i also read the actual script itself was pretty dry, and they adlibbed a lot of things in the show, and yeah i could definitely tell. without them this drama would not be half as good! they really struck gold with these two. funnily enough the writer wrote the characters with them in mind so that checks out😭
