everyone talking about how 16 episodes is too long and Iām over here thinking I would gladly watch their day-to-day…
you're right, there aren't many natural relationships that grow and love together like these two do in dramaland recently. it just feels so organic here, no matter its tropey-chaebol-romcom exterior.
I'm watching Heartbeat as well and the complaints over there are that there's no romance yet. This one was too…
yeah there's always something haha. i have yet to properly start that but i'm super excited since i love the leads. i think i'll spare myself of the comments and just enjoy it on my own lol
damn vibes here are still bad i see. love how you can totally tell it's the most popular show of the season when the negativity outweighs the positivity in the mdl comments by about 60% š another interesting thing i've noticed is how it's always "we want this to be shorter/it doesn't deserve 16 eps" with 16 ep shows and "12 eps weren't enough/things were too rushed and unnessecary developments in the last few eps" with 12 ep shows (let's not kid ourselves bc this was very much the case with business proposal). time for studios to start making more 14 ep dramas, i guess. but i'm glad most are still enjoying this (netflix numbers don't lie after all) and i also am and will be up until the end <3
How was the acting of Kim Rae Won and his personality in s1 ?
he was awesome. his character is very "crazy unhinged cop that will do insane things and put himself into insane situations to catch bad guys" and it's extremely fun to watch. the emotional aspects were also great
It doesn't feel forced to me, we knew this had to come eventually.
it's so weird ā before people were screaming about how everything is "too cute, romantic, no plot and interesting development", and now that there's ~~plot~~ happening it's suddenly "too stressfull and forced drama" like damn you just cant win xD
It doesn't feel forced to me, we knew this had to come eventually.
an arranged marriance doesnt feel forced when we remember this is a chaebol family after all and ofc there needs to be an obstable of some sorts, because even if this is a cute romcom the last stretch of episodes will always include some degree of stakes. plus it's not even unrealistic bc it happens irl too. to me forced drama would be sarang getting hit with the white truck of doom or something š
the other characters' name have meaning too, i love when kdrama does this guwon=salvation, cheon sarang=angel+love, pyeonghwa=peace, no sangshik=no common sense (lmao)
THERE IS YET HOPE OMG
but i'm glad most are still enjoying this (netflix numbers don't lie after all) and i also am and will be up until the end <3
