Yeah, I've seen a couple of his dramas before, never felt his performance was bad. I haven't seen any main role of FL so idk how she is usually, but yeah in the initial episodes it was bad. If arthur wasn't in it, I'd have dropped this within 30mins lol. But I did enjoy 3rd and 4th episode much more than the first two

It seems these king of scripts are popular these days where the guy falls first, and does everything for the girl, and the girl likes him too but for some reasons doesn't want a relationship.

Idk why, in the first 2 eps the acting seemed very weak to me, but then it got a bit better.
Ep 4 had me smiling all through it.

This is such a well written and well executed show, everything was top notch.

That's totally fine, seems like you prefer something more story driven rather than a slice of life drama. For most people I guess, this felt too real and many people relate to it. The show highlights parents and their relationships with kids so that was a key point which many people liked.

When I was watching it, I hadn't seen any cdrama with a sad ending (why do I feel like I still haven't lol). So I was sure it'd be a happy ending. When ml died, I thought he'd definitely come back, it must've been something he planned etc - cause there were some episodes left at that point.

I kept watching and waiting for him to come back. He didn't. I thought maybe in the last ep he'll come....he didn't......I thought maybe in the second half of the last ep he will come.......FL JUMPS OFF. I CRIED SO MUCH I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.

It was the most painful experience because I was literally in denial guys.

I haven't seen my parents for more than 2 years. Recently I've been itching to go home and see them again. This drama came at the perfect time for me. Gave me a month full of tears and even more longing to go see my parents. I really wish I see them this year :(

I agree for the most part. But I think they showed some flaws too, like the parts where their son felt left out always. And geum myeong feeling pressure to do well. These are very common things many people must've felt. It's not because our parents want to cause us pain though, they do everything they can for us, just like the main couple here, but they still couldn't bring their kids up "perfectly" without any issues.

But it's fine. "Perhaps there are no grown ups". It's our parents' first life too.
