I don't see anyone pointing this out so I'm just gonna say this : The fl's roommate literally had a dialogue in which she said that the cops did frame student protestors as nk spies. She actually said it and people still here acting like the drama is showing nis only goes after nk spies. The only reason why fl and her roommates are helping hae in rn is because they think he's another one of the student protestors getting targeted by the cops. ML actually being a nk spy is another thing which has nothing to do with the protestors till now. I don't understand how this is taken as distorting history at all.
i just finished watching the first 2 episodes and honestly i have yet to encounter the "historical revision" everyone…
I agree. After watching the first episode, I had no idea about sk's history but the impression i got from the drama was that the govt and nis sucked and students were out on the streets protesting. Now after reading about what happened at that time and watching both the eps i still dont have a positive impression of nis. On another note, ML being a nk spy has nothing to do with the protests till now....it's perfectly plausible that nk sent a spy to sk at that time, if it didn't , that's irrelevant too because this is not a documentary. Also, Jisoo's roommate actually said herself that the cops called student protestors nk spies and arrested them all the time! So the show did represent what happened in the past in sk. the ml really being a spy was a huge coincidence in this case. I understand why some people might get hurt by this, but to me this does not sound a legit reason to cancel the whole show (based on the 2eps released till now)
Does anyone know why ZDS was plastering up the spot above the bed (after his wife’s murder)? Also why he didnt…
that place on the wall was where their picture together was hanging. after killing her he took the picture off and it must've left some mark there or something so he started scraping it (atleast that's what i think) and for the second part im not sure either but he probably wanted them to leave as little evidence they were there as possible
The summary of the drama sounds confusing and I still don't know what it is about. Is there a better one around?
Legend has it that two experts left a half-finished chess game on the hilltop of eastern dynasty’s number one mountain called “King Mountain”. A few sentences are left on the board at a time when the eastern dynasty is experiencing turmoil, chaos and instability.
A woman dressed in a simple white robe like the snowy moon, praised as having “unsurpassable grace,” also happens to be one who acts and speaks freely, wild like the wind, such a person is praised and respected by the rest of the martial arts world (wulin). How is she to be “Carefree as the Wind” in such a wrecked and chaotic time?
A man who is completely opposite, dressed by the dark moon. He is graceful and honorable, kind and tolerant. This kind of person that the rest of the martial arts world (wulin) admires and submits to. In such a chaotic time where morals are loose, what kind of benignity can he accomplish?
A prince, born into exaltedness. His martial arts (wugong) is matchless, he is proud and strong, ambitious, and said to have the “arrogance of a King”. In this ever chaotic world, how will he accomplish his dominancy?
A noble princess who is beautiful and glamorous. With an ambitious and calculating heart, how she manoeuvres her way to reign supreme in the dangerous palace harem?
A world well-known intelligent princess who is good at martial arts. How in the face of national crisis, she guards her country and people in this troubled times?
A reclusive and mysterious prince who is well loved by his people. In such troubled times, will he live in seclusion or step out?
Home and country, how to counterbalance? Love and hate, how to define clearly? Gratitude and revenge, how to repay? Beauty and world, which is more important?
In this troubled times, there are many talented men. The chess game on the hilltop is between two people but to rule supreme in the world, only one person is needed!
