It is absolute BS that this series only has an 8.1 rating and a crap show like Ai Long Nhai has a 7.7! EY should…
I have never seen a BL (not including censored shows) on MDL over the rating of 8.5. I think they cap the ratings to not go above that no matter how many stars or reviews people give a show.

I’ve just watched some interviews and she definitely puts on a more high-pitched voice for her character at the beginning of the show. 😂 I just want to point out that in my original comment I never said it wasn’t her voice. It was that the voice was put on, most likely due to them wanting to emphasise that she is young. Some like that sort of thing and each to their own. However, I’m not one of those people hence why the character annoyed me every time she spoke, it wasn’t until the characters voice balanced out a bit in the second arc that I started to like her.
7.2... yikes Wanted to maybe give it a try, I guess not
MDL ratings for BL shows are fixed at 8.5 you won’t see a BL show above that rating unless it is a censored adaption (ex. The Untamed). So 7.2 out of 8.5 isn’t really that bad for a BL however, I’m not sure the show is really deserving of a 7.2 rating.
On episode 10, liking it so far...except I'm beginning to find the FL too irritating. May have to drop it because…
It was the high-pitched “cutesy” voice that was grating on me the most when watching the FL and the immature nature she had didn’t help. Like you I almost dropped the show, it wasn’t until the second arc of the story that the character grew on me more. I think where you are at ep 10 is the start of it, she gets a bit more life experience from there onwards.
Every time I look at the rating on here it annoys me! 😂 I’ve noticed that BL’s on MDL have a capped rating of 8.5 - even when you look at the breakdown and see most rating the shows above that. So you just need to few 8.5 as a 10 rating when it comes to BLs on this site.
I am struggling with this one. Yes, the leads have chemistry but haven't really found anything about them to like…
I feel similar to you. The chemistry is better than some other shows but it hasn’t sold me yet. I’m going to keep watching as I have watched worse BL shows (Check Out being the most recent disappointment) and hope that it gets better as the story unfolds a bit more and we see some character development (hopefully).
The description on MDL feels completely different to what I just watched. I don’t remember the director and the actor being in a relationship. I thought it was always the two actors skirting round each other and the director was just a creepy pervert the whole time blackmailing one of the actors with pictures and videos. Hence why one of them was living with him (most likely forced), severely depressed and cutting himself, whilst being monitored in every room of the house. Throwing himself in front of the director at the end so his lover kills him is, I assume, because he wanted to die and not be in “hell” anymore as he wasn’t a “devil” like the director claims he was for some reason. I don’t believe things were explained very well and you kind of grasp at straws throughout the film trying to make sense of it all, maybe it’s the subtitles that were lacking or just the film in general who knows.
There really is no need for him to apologise to her for her behaviour and to me it’s really unprofessional on her part that she does not take some responsibility. If he doesn’t deem it as assault that’s within his right but he shouldn’t be apologising for her actions or the actions of his fans.
Have you tried War of Y? The acting isn’t the greatest but it’s interesting to see behind the scenes a of…
That’s fair, I couldn’t get my head round Seng’s crying scenes as they felt really fake. However, the leads change every five episodes so they are only short stories for each couple so you don’t have to watch them for long
Either am tired of bls or....dropped almost all ongoing ones or either watch them in 5 minutes. They don't give…
Have you tried War of Y? The acting isn’t the greatest but it’s interesting to see behind the scenes a of the BL industry. It’s dramatised to an extent but some of these things most likely go on without us knowing.
Seeing that new video it’s definitely SA, or what’s classed as SA in the UK and from the way the actor is in the video they don’t seem comfortable about the excess touching.
The third comment has the links, although only the second one worked for me. The presenter (I think) grabbed the actors hair and shook him whilst saying something, I’m not sure what was said as I don’t speak Thai. I wouldn’t say it’s SA or SH from their actions, it was common assault.
