There was more of their story in the show than there was in the novel! š If season 2 happens, hopefully they will expand the stories of the side characters more!
So Iāve been looking on tumblr since the show ended and there are people who are apparently readers of the novel that are complaining about boc not dropping the cousin reveal from the show. As a reader of the novel I actually really enjoyed that twist in the story, I didnāt realise this was apparently something a lot of people did like.. so what would the main climax in the story be if it wasnāt that? Iām not entirely sure why there seems to be a problem with Kinn and Porsche being ācousinsā in the first place as they are not blood related and never had a familial relationship.
So Iām not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet as Iām late to the page, or if it was just me and some wishful thinking BUT the scene when Vegas puts his hand on the top of Petes back. I donāt think his hand stayed there.. They didnāt show it but with the way Vegas looked at Pete to witness his discomfort and Pete shifted up onto his knees shaking Vegas off gives me the impression that Vegasā hand had moved a lot lower, if you catch my drift.

They do a lot of things right in this series, but the plot is weak. I saw some spoilers about the upcoming episodes…
Yeah I get what you are saying, the plot in this show is the slow burn rather than the relationship. I kind of like that though as nothing annoys me more than a slow burn relationship where the characters only begin their story at the end of the show. The same as how it was in the books, the plot doesn't hit you till it hits you (if that makes sense).

I'd like to see it more in bls altogether really as they always seem to stick to one being dominant the other being submissive, why can't they switch it up a little? Even just being a power bottom or something - although I guess they did allude to that in the last episode when Kinn gave up control to Porsche.
How's Tawan's character in the novel? I mean his personality and all, please tell me, don't forget the spoiler…
He's very self-centred and believes he has done nothing wrong, he comes back from England to try and get back with Kinn for money as his family is broke.
Whenever he spoke in the novel it just bugged me as he was like 'Tawan still likes Kinn', 'Kinn used to bring Tawan here a lot' - I hate when characters refer to themselves in third-person, especially when that character is an idiot.
Try not to get too worked up over it, they obviously have it in for the show as they have only rated it 1 and…
I've had something similar happen to me before but it was years ago, like 10 years ago (that makes me feel old)! Generally, people like that have something going on in their own lives that causes them to lash out. However, if that is the case lashing out isn't the right thing to do.
