He was sent by Min to assassinate the North Korean leader, but something went awry in which he didn’t fully follow orders (that’s why Min was angry the media wasn’t reporting it as an assassination).
It seems that the operation was supposed to be covert, and Min wants Dooshik captured ASAP because he could potentially expose Min, which would’ve been an act of treason if he had acted against S. Korea’s wishes (who were hoping to be on “friendly” terms with N. Korea).
Lol, based on the 9eps aired, the teenagers are the main leads, getting most of the screenime. They are described…
If you look at the title credits in the show itself(!), where the cast’s names are shown in each episode, you’ll see the order of main cast and it’s exactly as it’s displayed on MDL here. It’s literally undeniably provable who is at the top of the casting.
Do you really think RSR, HHJ, and JIS would take on this project to just play second fiddle? If anything, it’s an ensemble cast but you guys are acting so toxic over screen time and who’s considered the main roles.
I think it’s important to remember the flashbacks are to set up why the parents went into hiding as they did…
Well this place is an open forum for discussion of dramas, so it’s quite alright to engage in such discussions. I’m saying it is what it is after we engaged in differences in opinions and it didn’t go anywhere.
Not a fan of the pacing of episodes 8&9. I appreciate the back story but 2 episodes of back story about a couple…
I think it’s important to remember the flashbacks are to set up why the parents went into hiding as they did and why they’re being hunted down right now along with their children. You might find it draggy but just as the kids had the full 7 episodes to develop their characters, these next couple episodes are important in delving into the parents’ characterization. I know the first 7 episodes garnered a lot of attention for its youth drama feel and made many ppl grow fond of the kids, but the drama is more than just the kids. Not to sound like Vin Diesel, but it’s about FAMILY, which yes does include the parents.
The webtoon and drama scriptwriter purposely wanted this show to be 20 episodes long so he could fully flesh out the characters back stories cuz in the webtoon, it’s very short and sped through. So let’s appreciate the writer’s intentions for this “draggy” pace. I’m sure it will pay off. And if you find it’s still too slow for you, maybe wait until the drama is done to binge 🤷🏻♀️
Definitely not old but not young either haha, which works in her favor cuz it allows her to take on such versatile roles. Iirc, a reason why she got cast for moving was because she could convincingly play the older mom role as well as the young NIS agent role.
I'm really enjoying this series so far and this is probably a cliched and millennial thing to do but I've been thinking all 3 leads are all representative of a Hogwarts house lol
Yoon Sae-Bom is a Gryffindor -- she's brave and courageous and daring to the point of being reckless sometimes, and she's got a strong moral compass. A common criticism of Gryffindors is that they take part in egotistical, nonsensical heroics.
Jung Yi-hyun is a Ravenclaw I'm thinking because he's observant, intelligent and logical, and idealistic. He can come off as cold and introverted, and can be judgmental (when he first meetsYSB on the rooftop and he chides her for being behind school for 2 years, not having any goals, etc.)
I think Han Tae-suk is a Slytherin -- he's realistic, strategic, and intelligent, and he has "ends justify the means" reasoning. Slytherins also make natural leaders and can be self-preserving, in that they will think about all possible outcomes before taking action.

And yes, I’m glad we are in agreement that screen time does not, in fact, correlate with the cast list.

Have a nice day as well
Something you may not have enjoyed was something many others enjoyed. It is what it is. 🤷🏻♀️
