For information:Viki's shows are all subbed and segged by volunteers. If you can't pay for a subscription, you…
Oh.... I didn't know about this. Thank you for putting this information out here so others would know about it! What I know is that VIKI started to be a free-fansub site but turned into a registered/paid site a couple of years ago. I had no idea that they are still accepting volunteers for a Pass. That's pretty neat if you ask me. ;)

"Watch dramas on legal sites." Which presupposes this is possible. For many, it's not. Viki, for example, does…
Hello! How I wish I could amend my subtitle like this. However I have to stick to generalization because I'm not allowed to insinuate any means of watching illegal in the article. T_T Originally I have included and tackled about underground sites but wasn't allowed to post that, so this is how it ended up. There is so much about watching illegally to talk about, unfortunately it's screened here in MDL. lol!

Even i really want to switch to seeing things legally but there are just way too many sites to pay for and i am…
I totally understand this! If you subscribe to something, it should be totally worth your money otherwise it would just be a waste.

I totally understand you. I'm in southeast asia and yet I still have limited access to these legal sites. We gotta do what we gotta do for our drama fix satisfaction. ;)

Hey there! Welcome to the world of Asian Drama goodness! I hope you stay for long and enjoy the entire ride. There might be ups and downs (like drama slumps) but that's okay. You can always come and go, these dramas will always be there to comfort you back anytime. ^_^v

Thank you for your comment. I feel you and totally understand! I wanted to include in the article about underground sites and fan-subber but my editors said that wasn't allowed to be mentioned in the article (T_T) that's why my writing ended up seeming pro-company based watching that's why I put up a disclaimer that I'm not really happy to support big companies. I'd rather support Viki or Crunchyroll as they started as fansubbers first. heh.

I am all for the support of Fan-subbers. This is how I started with JDramas and KDramas. I helped fan-subbing too that's why I know all the hard work these people go through just to bring out quality translated dramas for free and to be accessible for people all over the world.

Nice article! I love how she mentioned the drama Search: WWW, which is such a rare gem in the Kdrama world. I…
Hello! Thank you for your comment and I love Search: WWW. I watched it later after it was aired, something I regret doing because I should have watched it during its air time. It was a really great drama.

Regarding your comment about the subtitle, I have written that as a general idea. I feel you about being privileged and yet I also feel I'm unprivileged at the same time because there are so many dramas that aren't available in my region even if I pay for it.

I really don't condone those who can't afford to watch legally or don't have the means to do so because I started watching elsewhere too and you know what that means. lol! Honestly... this article was edited 3 times because there are things I can't mention which is about underground sites when things aren't available in their region or couldn't afford to watch legally. This is also mentioned by @Slim Xtra from the comment above. It's sad when things aren't available on legal streaming platforms but we gotta do what we gotta do for the love of our biases/dramas. ;)

Nirvana in Fire!!!! Best historical drama in my chinese drama list book.

I'm happy it's still part of the Top 10.

Thank you for making this article, it's so informative and like you, I had different emotions seeing my favorite and not so favorite dramas in the list. ^_^v

I'm wondering if you're now getting private messages of hate. LOL!

I find this article funny and as you stated some stuff so accurately it's too painful to admit.

Personally, I liked 1 of the dramas you've mentioned, loved 1 sincerely and the other 2... never got to watch it because 1 has been in my PTW while the other I thought there were better shows than that.

Move to Heaven - I guess I was able to connect with all the characters and actual situations as I've cried my eyes out while watching the drama. For someone like me who worked in the hospital and as a hospice nurse caregiver, the only thing that I could think of about death is how to move on. Coincidentally this show was also airing while I was grieving for my grandmother who passed away during that time. I was relating to it on a whole different level. That's why this drama is dear to my heart despite its lack of other stuff.

Doom at Your Service - I was invested in this drama for all it's worth. I still don't think it's too hyped up as much as I thought it would be. I would agree though with the lines, it was cringe-worthy, but overall, it was a good drama for me mixing all elements of OST, Cinematography, and acting.

Thank you for writing about Navelleria, it's been in my PTW but never really set it into my priority watch because... Song Kang really isn't my cup of tea. If I'm going to watch it, it's probably for the grandfather.

Lastly... STOVE LEAGUE! It's sad that Nam Goong Min and Park Eun Bin aren't enough to make this a hyped drama at all. That aside, this drama definitely had a great storyline and all drama elements coming together, it produced this masterpiece. I definitely recommend this as well.

Title Yumi's Cells
But it’s not even about Yumi’s boys? Love is a big part of Yumi’s life but it isn’t everything about her…
My comment was supposed to be a joke since Yumi did have a couple of boys in her life. I didn't intend to have any more suggestion than that. ^_^v

I was thinking about the same thing. I put Be Melodramatic aside but I honestly forgot about it. xD
oh... thank you for your thoughts! I've been wanting to check out the korean version because of sehun. lol. now I know what to prioritize. will definitely check this out! it's not in any streaming platform I'm subscribed in, so will probably check those who has subbed this directly.

Title Yumi's Cells
Sorry but I have to disagree with the subpar part because this drama was done with great cast, cinematography,…
The storyline is quite original for something that was adapted from a Webtoon. We've never had a KDrama with cells (in animation form) defining how human beings live their life.

Back in 2015 no one even thought that this could be made into a drama due to the cells being a whole different type of story within the story.

I think this drama deserves to be checked out by people who like this kind of genre. It's sad that you had other expectations from this drama and had a conclusion that it's not for you.

Hopefully you find a better one out there that would please you more. :)

I've finished that drama, I love how the ladies were all awesome and yet tainted in some way. lol. What I missed out in here are Five Enough and Richman Poor Woman. Have you seen the korean version for that? I'm thinking which I should check out first, the original or the adaptation.
