This drama was awesome. There were some stuff that I would like to change like the CGI being better, back stories being explained more, people deaths being justified better not dying all of a sudden, adding more freaking episodes to make the romance seep in until it drips from my whole being... but that aside... maaaaaan! The 2 lead's chemistry was on fire! I've never enjoyed a Chinese drama with romance and politics as much as this after Nirvana In Fire 1 and that was already 7 years ago!

Politics, Romance and Wuxia works so fine with me. Definitely recommending this drama if they're into this kind of Genre.

I just finished the drama and it was definitely an awesome ride! I want more though but everything good has to end. I wish they make another novel out of their world or make a story about these two legends and their offspring. That would really be awesome!

Ahhhh... Daisy! I know that manga. I just didn't have the chance to continue with it. I loved Skip Beat so much that's why when I read this article, I totally agree with you. It's high time they remake it into a KDrama and the story has progressed so much that there would be enough great material to work with. The Taiwanese version was sooooo short and left me hanging. I loved it though despite that, it's where I first fell in love with Choi Siwon as an actor. ^_^v

Have you read the Manga Ai-Ren??? I wish that manga would be adapted into a drama too. It doesn't actually matter to me if it's in Kdrama or Jdrama because it's worth adapting despite its short run.

Your review is very spot on! Though I only rated this 8/10 due to being turned off to some plot lines, over all it was a great binge-worthy drama. I loved the romance and politics that were mixed well in the whole show.

I just saw this article and I'm crying while reading it and feeling the pain all over again. I remember the moment I read the news about his passing I suddenly burst into fit ugly crying tears. My hubby was surprised as I was beside him while sobbing through the horrible news. It was a very side day and I felt so down the whole week. A lot of us were grieving. Up to this day, I could still feel the loss of a really great actor.

Thank you for sharing this, though I'm too late in reading it... I'm glad that a lot of people here loved and respected him as much as I did.

Oh man.. this was a long read but seriously... I cried while reading through it all! remembering how much I loved the drama you've mentioned and cried on the same scenes. Then those I haven't actually seen are still good tearjerkers which I had to put in my PTW list asap. Thank you for sharing this lovely article.

It's one of the loopholes of this dramas. Writer must have missed out on this too.
