I love your article. It totally made me feel nostalgic.
During my time when I was still getting into the hype, I usually ran from school to my house to catch up with the latest episode of drama which was being aired on our local TV and dubbed in our own language. Then the internet boomed, I was sucked into the world of streaming... buffering... frustrations and sleepless nights. haha! And yes, I knew Crunchy Roll, Daily Motion, Veoh and Mysoju. But I preferred the previous dramas I have mentioned due to better quality and subs. Lastly, torrent downloading was introduced to me and so I said goodbye to my streaming and buffering days! We watchers do evolve too. haha! >_<
This drama is perfect for those looking for a short and heart warming show. It's really cute, full of life and the colors and cinematography is just right. I just wish it had a spin off for a real drama though. I would love to know what really happened to those kids after that last episode. :)
So I stopped this drama at episode 5... The thing is I LOVE Kim Kang Woo so I really want to keep watching, but…
ditto with the bad story plot. I'm currently in episode 6 and things felt like watching thieves the movie, then shifts to DOTS, then shifts to Heirs, then goes to a makjang... i dunno. I'm confused. lol
why does this drama have ratings from 320 people when it's only on its 5th episode... wth........
Hmmmmm.. good question.
Personally, my ratings change over time as I watch the drama. There are times when the first few episodes are bad, but after those first episodes things get better so does the rating. I do this to my drama choices, I rate them according to my feels every after episodes, so I see if there's an improvement or if I really need to drama.
The rating tab is there for people to tell what they think of the drama.
But anyways, over all ratings is NOT A RELIABLE source for judging a good/bad drama since ratings depend on other people's opinions. Comparing Descendants of the Sun, in my opinion it was an Okay drama, not worth a 10. But to some it's the best.
Best way to know if the drama is really good, ask people with the similar drama tastes as you or check the comments section and find people with your same taste. If they think it's bad, most likely it's true. :)
Hope that helped ease your annoyance even for a little bit. ^_^v
