I am watching this but it has very low ratings when even ep. 3 hasn't aired yet. Good so far. It has all the good character actors I am thinking more 8.2+
I am loving Lee Dong Wook's anti-hero showing some conscience and then veering back into currying favor and trying to get ahead by whatever means.
The shows portrayal of how corrupt the police is part of the entertainment. Of course its all fantasy, she would have been found years later in some ditch as a Jane Doe.
Every couple of months I have to watch parts of this again and again. Both FL and ML look great as does the CEO and artist. The dialogue is great. Its a great rewatch!
This was a little gem of a show. Loved all the characters; even the kids. Of course the ML and FL were great. The kids in the hospital added to the story.
This is one of the few dramas where i wished i knew the ending before watching it because the amount of skipping…
that was good advice, I was about to skip through it because of its low score but the actors even the child actors gave such good performances that I am going to enjoy the slow build ...
Huge fan of Ha Ji Won; great to see her back in a show! The cast is certainly star studded! The flash back to the 50s look like a video game promo but its well done nonetheless. I liked how they got the typical chaebol family sale of the hotel over in like 7 minutes.
I took a long break and then watched ep. 6-10 which was pretty good but then skipped through all of ep. 11. Long stretches of boring and action. They go from seeming pretty smart when she gets the money out and puts bricks in the suitcase and breaks that guy out of the hospital; revealing the guy murder the other guy; reporting on the murder weapon on TV. But then they go all stupid.
This feels so underrated. I look forward to this every week and this is one of the only show I've watched that…
Seems like there are that many romcom, comedy shows; many many melo, corp. crime legal shows. I have been missing bright shows like this one. It may not be genius but it is better than all the dark themed shows out.
the first four episodes were some the best most tightly written shows I have seen in a long time! Wow! it was fantastic; then it started gradually going down ep. 5 and on. I am hoping it picks back up again.
I like how they tie a big rope around the criminal; there is something both traditional and practical about it. No key to lose, cheaper than steel hand cuffs and very visible.
rewatching now on ep. 2. I forgot how CUTE this show was. Such miserable work life though especially for the women. yeeeech. Just watched One Spring Night again and this is much more my speed. Also, love that SYJ.
The soundtrack used great songs to DEATH; how many times did they play Last Dance or Stand By Your Man even by ep. 2 I got sick of it.
