Why 20 ends with "Don't be afraid, I'm here" but 21 starts with CSS chasing after HZJ? Where did the precious, awaited, rare moment between the two go? Is it just something wrong with my eyes or is it so unfair?!

"The Long Ballad"- His series that aired last year. He was ML (still the best written ML for me) and ZLS also starred there.

One of the things I felt lacking in TLB was that even not a single woman fell for him and his gorgeous braided wavy hair (except a teenage girl and FL-it also took a lot of time). Would you believe it?!🤓 So I'm going to enjoy it in this right now.😎

I haven't watched anything beyond 20, but is her fear of him because she saw him when he beheaded rebels or because his general aura or is there something else in the part I didn't watch??👀

I'm looking forward to the intense, heartbreaking, emotionally devastating scenes to come for LBY as much as I don't want to see his character suffer. (If there is. Didn't read the novel.)
Cause WL's performance in emotional breakdown scenes is always top notch; in each of them, whether it is caused by anger, hatred or sadness.
There was an unforgettable scene in TLB where I really noticed the quality of his acting for the first time. In that scene, in a matter of seconds, he made such a nuanced and smooth transition between the emotions of fear, anxiety, pride, helplessness, sorrow, anger and hatred that you felt all these emotions that the character felt while watching him. It was really intense.
Here, too, the brutal intensity in the scene of killing in prison and the way he reflects it with all his facial expressions...
I think his acting shines in a special light in difficult and intense scenes rather than simple ones.

When ML&FL speak, I look forward to the next word, no matter how simple the conversation. While I was watching, my big sis would come and look at it from time to time. She was with me in the farewell/ wood scene in 19. From my sister's point of view it was probably a very slow and lifeless scene. Cause much more fancy and catchy sentences are expected at such moments. Also, the dialogue flowed slowly. But for me, how long I waited for the two of them to come together and talk like this. So I was looking forward to every word they had to say and hoped the scene would be a little longer. Even if they are talking about weather or nothing at that moment, it was enough for me to they use one more sentence each other.
She was with me too when I watched the end of ep 20. That hug and the line, "Don't be afraid. I'm here."
How 'meh' and cliché it sounded for her from the outside. But it's a totally precious moment for us. How not! It took so long for these moments to come. And also the parallels of this line with a moment in the past... (^◕.◕^)

With this, I realized once again that 'slow burn' is literally my cup of tea; The excitement and contentment that tingles in you by the little simple moments is unique to this, in a way that you will never find in others.
Like here, in stories where you can't find scenes where ML&FL stands side by side at any moment, every encounter you hardly get will draw you in with your whole being. From the very beginning... When you know that nothing will develop fast, you start collecting every little crumb from the very first moment. You scan every expression of interest and emotion on their face and demeanor regarding the other.. In here, it starts from ML's interaction with FL's outstretched hand from the carriage.
In general, in a slow burn story, one side falls earlier and it takes time for the other to realize him/her, their hearts to align. That's why we come to the more exciting part when who first to fall is clear. Once you are sure of the love and affection of either of them (here this is ML), your focus turns to the other. When will she realize him, when will she start thinking about him?? Every little inclination and thought she develops towards him has an effect that more flashy scenes can't leave. e.g; It is invaluable that FL to remember ML's advice when riding horse where she was supposed to lead the convoy. Or remembers the scene he holding her hand and pulling her lightly to himself when she got into his carriage and saw the arrow she pulled out of his wound. Her thoughtfulness at home after their farewell at ep 19 and that sense of wonder if a flashback will come there..
Any minor and major event that makes them interact physically or mentally..
Tiny coincidences, encounters here and there..
Eyes meeting for a few seconds.. Their names that come side by side somehow..
Any simple gossip about one's identity, background, looks or success in the presence of the other...
With baby steps.. the bond that formed between them by the inconspicuous colorless threads that slowly and silently bind and entwined together...
Any faint-subtle interaction that you would never care about in the anything else becomes valuable and alive for you. Even if it is a scene that someone who comes near you while watching will never find important and interesting and maybe just where they stand face to face from afar... For you, the meaning of that scene is completely different. It is possible to watch such a scene over and over again. Because you keep looking for crumbs of interest/emotion/affection in their faces, movements and most of all in their gazes. That's why you watch the scenes of them at least three times most of the time. In the first; Read the subtitle. Second, watch the scene with an overview. Third, focus on micro expressions, gaze intensity, and body language. And when you get something tangible on the third, you rewatch a few more times just to be sure and enjoy it. Even in the simple and tiny scenes of the two, that tingling anticipation and excitement about any possibility that will bring them physically or emotionally closer is always hanging there, even if it is very small.
Not for those who like speedy and tangible things.
Only those who love the serenity and deep bonds in slowness will see the beauty in this.

Probably not the choreographies for this drama. Different trainings (for other dramas) of the same martial arts team. As far as I remember there was no fight with long spears here.🙄

I still remember how you all chased people who were irrationally critical. XDD Since I don't like tensions, I usually hide in my own corner and don't walk around so much at such times. XD and yes, I'm also skeptical that due to the heavy flow another page will appear where the comments will have to be deleted. :') However, it is a fact that that process has destroyed that our beautiful atmosphere even though it's pointless to talk about it anymore :/

Contrary to some claims, all this was a naturally developed process and togetherness, so as you said, it is very difficult to catch an example of this once again. As far as I remember, only Gongsun Heng, Mr.Qin and A'Sun knew she was a girl. The army or the generals thought she was a clever young man :D So, at a point where they can't do better and in a life and death matter, it doesn't seem so absurd for them to listen to a young boy standing in front of them with good strategies. İn such a critical situation, whoever throws them a lifebuoy will be embraced with all their arms :) However, like you said, it is unrealistic that until that time there was no man to manage the crisis like FL and to entrust the army in the absence of the governor, for a region where the city is tried to be kept alive by constantly resisting tough wars. This is a very serious deficit for such a city. But it was also mentioned that the lack of this was felt. When the governor saw the FL's ability and sincerity in this matter he continued to hold her by his side despite realizing her lies.

In addition, the next two episodes are one of the most critical eps of the drama and a complete break and turning point. So excited :D
