The more I watch, the more I feel like, with better screenwriting, direction, and production, this could be such an incredible film. The story is there, even the actors, despite their limits, are often really good, but the series stays too close to a rather silly space that doesn't do the material justice
I assumed so! Plenty of exceptions, but I often find when I respond to certain things, it's because it feels like it has traces of something from personal experience in it. But yeah, I don't mind playing with the BL format a bit. It's refreshing either way.
Finally something interesting! I realize once more that I'm a sucker for dark plots π€
We should be friends. I don't understand the people on here who like the fluffy fantasy stuff. I need SOME realism. Maybe because I'm actually queer, and I need things to help me understand and cope with life, not saccharine lies.
Thank you kindly! I'm loving it so far. The main actor's performance could be a bit more understated, and frankly I would be fine if this were just toxic and darkly real, but I'm liking the direction so far too. I AM getting a little sick of that room, though. Hope they branch out the story and locations a bit.
can someone tell me why is this dark without spoiling the plot????
Why... would that need explaining? Do you think life is all sunshine and rainbows, or that people don't appreciate and benefit from exploring more realistic themes? Literally cannot understand this question. Bizarre.
Good series on here are a bit like Asian restaurants in the US. Those with 3.5 stars are often the best, because of all the clueless reviewers. I saw 7.7 (the highest any masterpiece will ever get on here), the look of the series, and the online comments, and, frankly, my expectations are high.
I'm so bored by possessiveness. It's 2024. They should simply all date each other or something. Who actually cares? Always so toxic and controlling--and, worse, predictable. The chemistry and looks are the only things getting me through this.
