Here's the definition of Selfish: lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure. Continuing to steal people's work and get credit for oneself instead of doing the work yourself is selfish. YC wants to be the team leader so she can be praised for doing mid work or not doing anything at all. And, she did more than just stealing a design book (multiple times at that). She faked her pregnancy so she could get Sehoon's attention, but she didn't wanna actually get pregnant cause it would ruin her figure (which is fair, but she didn't have to deceive people). She didn't try to kill anyone... sure. The ex-boyfriend is alive, yes, but she did smack him upside the head with a wine bottle, and he fell to the floor bleeding his head out. Then, she ran to her mommy and told her to do something about it. She withheld evidence of a murder and a murder attempt, so she could use it to blackmail people. That is selfish and criminal. She's the same as the rest of the characters. The only person who's actually innocent is Semi.

YC is an ADULT. she can leave her mother, change her identity, move to another country, and get a job. she doesn't have to be her mom's puppet. Her ex stopped liking her and ghosted her, then she proceeded to kidnap him and hold him captive. Do you think that's morally right? fine, but YC went too far in getting back at her ex who's now dead. Yeah she didn't kill him, but she did hold him captive and assaulted him. And I think JW should've just sued YC for stealing her work, but we all know how that's gonna work out; YC would be let off easy like how you are doing. Your logic is that YC gets everything she wants, and then she'll become a better person because the power of love fixes everything w/out even addressing or repenting for what she did wrong

I'm gonna be a troll and take it further back: the primary killer is YC because she mistreated JW and started the game of "lets change identities" and thought it was amusing like a cat toying with a mouse. Let's take it even further back; it's the chairman because he framed JW's father, which led to the persecution of JW and her family and so on and so on. And JW did stop all this and let the rich people walk all over her, the audience would hate her for being too good and being an idiot. Would we even have story then? it would be pretty boring. There was a similar commentator for Queen's house like you who blamed the FL for everything including murder even though she was a good person. Why do all that mental gymnastics to blame everything on the FL?? Let's call a spade a spade. The chairman murdered the dad. It's literally as simple as that. Even JW stopped everything and went back to her old life (and sued YC for stealing her work which wouldn't work because NS would probably bribe the judge, and YC would tell the public not to believe a murderer's daughter), you'd think that would stop the chairman from killing both father and daughter to get them outta his life. He tried once before and he'll do it again.

I never said I was an advisor... I am just a spectator viewing the characters. And I never said I agreed with JW's actions thus far, and that JW is a victim; she's a complex, morally grey character. I'm just trying to explain why JW is the way she is to get to this point. it's kind of ironic you're saying I'M the "wallowing in self pity and victimhood" advisor, when you say YC is a victim (i agree she is a victim of her mother). In a way, JW is also a victim of YC. yes its wrong of JW to steal her identity, BUT YC also stole her work and used them to get into art school and get a job. but is YC self-reflecting? No. She doesn't feel bad about mistreating her friend and stealing from her. YC is also jealous of JW because JW has the talent she wants. She doesn't try to design herself and resorts to taking JW's work to pass off as her own. If you were a tough love advisor, you would not have a bias with YC. She can change with care, but she also needs to learn that she can't take and have everything handed to her. love was good for her, YC needs to learn how to work for it. (She also needs to work to become a talented designer herself) And again, a redemption arc only works, if a bad guy self-reflects and faces the consequences.

I hate the spoiled, entitled rich characters. yes, she has a shitty, abusive mother, but she gets everything she wants handed to her. A redemption arc works only if YC reflects on her actions she's done thus so far and faces the consequences. Because of her obsession with her ex, she held him captive and injured him in the process. And I'm not just saying she's the only character who should be punished, most of the characters on this show including FL deserve jail time. NS and YC could try to repair their relationship with each other BUT they also need to spend time in the slammer.

Have you even watched the 1st ep??? Jw did try to get hired as a designer but couldn't because of her fukin background as a MURDERER'S DAUGHTER. She couldn't get a job even when she tried her best. Meanwhile, YC got into art school and Kunhyang easily with STOLEN work. but go ahead and make JW the villain and YC the victim. In a way, I agree that jw is an antihero, but you are way too harsh on the FL and let YC off the hook.

Why do you like the realYC so much?? She is such a spoiled brat who treated the FL like a maid, stole her work twice, and had a part in killing her model bf. She's worse than JW and had what's coming to her. stop treating her like a fckin victim. If you think jw can't self-reflect, then YC can't either it seems. She stole jw's work TWICE and got away with assaulting her bf, and LAUGHED at jw's dad dying. Stop giving poor little rich thief YC the benefit of the doubt. The only way she can grow up and get a redemption arc is by reflecting on her actions, the art school she went to rescinds her degree, and spends time in jail for assaulting her bf.

Edit: If you think jw indirectly killed her dad and is shitty for torturing her rich mommy (in law), then YC is also responsible for taking part in killing her bf just because she couldn't get over her obsession with him. And if you want to do mental gymnastics to excuse poor (rich) YC, then yeah its all jw's fault cause everything is her fault to you. Cause the evil jw made these poor little victims (big bad rich villains) go on a killing spree. 🙄

I love to see it! Finally, a drama where the FL plays dirty! I've been saying this for a while: if the villains play dirty, then the FLs in these makjangs need to get rid of the "kill em with kindness" mentality and play dirty too to step up their game.

There are already 2 reliable and credible doctor characters in the drama, who have connections with other colleagues, and one of whom had his doctor friends fake JI's diagnosis and medical examinations. Unlike in MMH, JI and Co. don't have to bribe anyone and buy ultrasounds off of Craigslist.
