That's the thing about FLs in these revenge dramas. I think they can't be too soft during revenge. If the bad guys play dirty, they have to play dirty too, or else they end up doing nothing and the baddies keep winning until the drama is close to an end.

Honestly, the scenarios that users write here on MDL for these dramas are much more entertaining to read lol 😂 y'all are hilarious! I have a hoot reading some of em. And a random long lost mom showing up for their kid at the end is only possible in the strange and nonsensical world of ✨ kdramaland ✨.

My girl Hana already went through hell during her childhood.
She has a shit ton of trauma:
-being abandoned by her bio mom
-experiencing her bio dad dying in a fire when she was 7 yo
-being sent to an orphanage
-being adopted by abusive parents who used her as a child servant
-being sent to an orphanage again
-being adopted by good parents this time, but then having to grieve their sudden deaths.
She's even had to endure trauma, abuse, and betrayal during her adulthood as you saw. She's had a huge shock finding out about how the chairwoman (her fake mom) was involved in her adoptive parents' accident. I don't think she's in the right state of mind now to take in Eunchong. Even if she didn't give up on him, you think the snake chairwoman would not find another way to lock hana up? I think the chairwoman is the worst. She may not have anything to do with their parents' accident, but she ruined a lot of innocent people's livelihoods with her corporate raiding. Yes, I feel for Eunchong, but what about the children of those whose lives were ruined by the chairwoman? At least Eunchong has food, a roof over his head, and a rich grandma who loves and adores him. He doesn't have to struggle to get by like JS, Hana, and their siblings did due to their parents' debts (caused by the chairwoman ruining their business).

I am very suspicious of the PA... ever since she planted some doubt about Hana adopting Eunchong into the chairwoman's head. I feel like she's working with the snake queen.

Lmao MJ would be wild! To answer your question, yes, the long lost mom would show up towards the end (usually as a trump card). But you could also be right. Usually the mom mistreats their long lost daughter in these shows, doesn't find out til the end, and ends up regretting all the times they abused their flesh and blood

I think GH can be a little selfish rn. Her priority on her mind is her baby, so she probably doesn't wanna be dating at the moment. I don't think she should return his feelings for saving her life... (don't get me wrong, she should be more grateful and nicer to him) she'll pursue him when she feels ready for romance again. The 1st time she just got out of a toxic relationship and the 2nd time she got out of a toxic marriage. The timing isn't unfortunately working out for DS (due to GH's dumbass decisions). Right now, she's focusing on Momo and her work. Nothing wrong with that. She originally wanted to be the single mom anyway. Her life took a detour to a marriage with minkompoop because everyone else wanted that for her. Now she can finally do what makes her happy and afford to be a little selfish.

I started this drama last month and right now I'm on ep 54... After reading the latest comments here, I am not sure I wanna continue... Also, how is any adoption agency gonna allow that rat princess to adopt Eunchong?? She has child abuse allegations against her. Eunchong literally told the cops that the rat pushed and shoved him around. And that snake chairwoman (on the ep I was on) literally thought "How dare you lay hands on my precious grandson. If I had my way with you, I would break your wrists (to Seyoung)", and from what I'm reading in the comments, all of a sudden she wants THIS same rat who laid hands on her precious grandson to marry JG and adopt him?? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!
