Title Are You the One Spoiler
how was the ending for the FL x ML relationship? Are they together and HE?
Yes, and in a highly satisfying way. Full of abundant happiness.

I don't know how many times I've rewatched this. I can't get enough of it. I never will. A quality that will never return. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I adore it.

Another research investigation. Please stop spending on these couples. Eight out of every ten series are investigative. :(

Title Love of Thousand Years Spoiler
🪷 Another unusual ending, but definitely one of those hidden gems. 🪷

🪭 When our princess heroine—whose entire family and people were massacred during a demonic invasion—sets out on a path of revenge and to rid the world of demons, her journey intersects with a charismatic immortal who has yearned for her for a thousand years. Throughout this adventure, shifting relationships, newfound and rekindled friendships, teamwork, and multiple couples form a truly engaging core cast that I enjoyed watching from beginning to end.

The fantasy elements are well-balanced, enhancing the overall flavor of the show. Instead of taking place in a fully immortal world, the story progresses with a more human touch, fitting into the "Wuxia" genre, which adds depth and beauty to the narrative. The first half is fun and light-hearted, while the latter half becomes emotional and profound. This has become one of those series I’ve added to my archive, the kind I’ll revisit from time to time.

Though the 30-episode series can feel slow-paced at moments due to flashbacks and emotional depth, it's still a high-quality drama that keeps you curious for the next episode. I watched every bit of it without skipping or fast-forwarding. For those looking for a high-quality production that focuses on romance while blending in adventure, fantasy, and friendship — this one’s definitely above average. I also got hooked on Zheng Ye Cheng with his charisma and role in this series. 💖

"I watched it at the beginning of 2024. Unfortunately, the current shows aren’t very good, so I think it’s time for a rewatch of this one."

Never doubted Zhuge Kongyun right from the start
I don't think I'll be able to watch the second season of this series — I haven't even finished the first one yet. But yes, he was definitely a character who deserved much more screen time. He was the most intriguing character in the show, and the one who matched best with the male lead as a duo, especially with his intelligence and way of thinking.

Never doubted Zhuge Kongyun right from the start
Absolutely. I watched 23 episodes to see the encounter scene between him and Bei Ming and possible brotherhood scenes, but unfortunately, the scene share for the most interesting character in the series was very insufficient. But still he is a scene stealer.

In episode 23, Zhuge's charisma reaches its peak. This is what it means to be cool and intelligent. It is evident that Zhuge knows his beloved rival much better than the leading lady. It would have been preferable if the leading lady had not been included in this series, and we could have witnessed the brotherly bond between the leading duo, which developed from their friendly rivalry. In that case, the series would have been of much higher quality. We've been watching the lead character in a sickening way for 20 episodes straight.

You watch episode 2 to episode 3 in just a click. It's easy to say you shouldn't or wouldn't hurt or lose trust…
That's your opinion, and you can come up with all sorts of excuses to justify the leading lady, but they're all just excuses. You can comfort yourself that way, but it goes against my way of thinking. I don't buy into that kind of justice. Being a woman doesn't excuse her. I'm sorry, but I can't excuse someone's actions based on feminist ideas. She’s just a thoughtless fool in my eyes, and that won’t change because of the excuses you’re making. I hate her. No price she pays will exonerate her; it will only be paying the price for what she did. There's a saying in this series: “A life for a life.” This price is being presented as if it were a favor (her willingness to sacrifice her eyes and her life, etc.), but it's not a favor; it's a natural thing that anyone who feels guilty should do. Every character in the series pays a price, whether willingly or unwillingly, and there’s nothing that sets her apart. Everyone has a reason, but she’s the only one who doesn’t pay the price. I’m not buying it.

"I’ve watched everything you’ve watched. I didn’t skip a single scene in the series, but I still don’t think the same way you do. It’s normal for the girl to get angry and have doubts—she should investigate—but making a decision without thinking is still completely irrational. Even though three years had passed, stabbing him to let out her anger wasn’t a problem for me. It was an understandable scene. But the moment poison was involved, it crossed the line. It doesn’t matter what kind of poison it was or what she intended with it—the point is, it was poison. Choosing any kind of poison out of many deadly ones is a risk in itself.

Wanting to weaken him was also ridiculous. This girl, who stood up to so many enemies with courage, suddenly needs such a drastic measure against the person she knows best? Everything started with her asking for poison. That’s why, to me, she’s the guilty one. The other guy’s carelessness is just a consequence. She should’ve double-checked—she’s handling poison, not medicine, among dozens of deadly ones.

If a family member of ours had an accident and got hurt, of course we’d feel anger, maybe even hatred—we might even want to kill someone. (But you didn’t go out and harm random people just because you were angry, right?) We first have to investigate the cause and find the real target of our anger. There should be not a shred of doubt left. And the girl’s decision wasn’t impulsive—it was fueled by years of anger, but three years is more than enough time to think clearly. She could’ve thought about what kind of person the guy truly was, their bond since childhood, and her father’s strange behavior before he died. Three years is plenty of time for that. That way, she could’ve investigated him objectively when he showed up.

We don’t need to personally experience everything to be able to use our minds and distinguish right from wrong. And I still hate the girl. In my opinion, her actions completely contradicted her character. Her stupid mistake led to deadly consequences. The male lead was branded for a crime he didn’t commit and was even accused by the one who should’ve believed in him the most. Instead, she was the first to lash out and poisoned him fatally, without any return. And he didn’t even get angry at her.

Right now I just call the girl an idiot, but I’m holding back from saying even worse things. And I think she deserves it. I would say the same thing if it were a male character. I hate characters who act this brainlessly and stupidly. I call girls like that a btch and guys like that a bastrd. That’s how I vent my anger. At least I’m not hurting anyone physically :D

I’m sorry, but your perspective doesn’t work for me. Some actions are simply unforgivable because there’s no turning back. That’s why you have to double, triple check before doing something. Especially if you’re someone in charge of justice—or if the person in front of you is someone you’ve known since childhood, you need to be even more careful. And even more so if it’s someone you love and married.

You can say the poison guy is at fault all you want, but in my eyes, the one who asked for the poison is more guilty. She had the intention and caused it all. According to your logic, the male lead should’ve been furious too—because the person he loved the most didn’t trust him, and instead made a worse judgment than anyone else, stabbing and fatally poisoning him. But he drank the poison willingly, saying he’d drink anything from her hands, even if it was poison. He didn’t blame her because he trusts her, he knows she didn’t do it on purpose, and he loves her. That’s the difference between them. Acting on anger always ends badly. After all those years together, I think he deserved at least a little trust. Not blind trust, of course, but enough to make her double-check before killing or poisoning him.

And again, I will never forgive or tolerate such a character—regardless of gender.

I truly don’t understand the people who keep defending her. Sorry, but your sense of justice doesn’t seem very fair to me. On one hand, someone was poisoned and branded as guilty without trial, and on the other hand, someone poisoned a person due to their own stupidity—and faces no consequences. That’s not balance. A pregnant woman who kills someone threatening her is still sentenced to death, but this girl gets away with it because she’s the female lead—and because the male lead is some foolishly loyal lover who keeps blaming himself. Sorry, but I can’t stand injustice. Everyone must pay the price for their actions—whether they did it intentionally or not. Stupidity and anger are not excuses.

Don’t keep trying to justify the actions of a brainless girl who caused someone’s death. I don’t care if she didn’t mean it. If she was targeting the wrong person, then she deserves to die. According to your view, anything done in anger should be excused. So by that logic, when we lose a loved one, we can lash out at anyone without checking if they’re guilty? Sorry, but I’m not that irrational, nor that cruel, and definitely not a naive Pollyanna. I’m just someone with basic logic. And that basic logic says: the one who asked for the poison should pay the price. It’s not that hard to understand.

And don’t bother explaining the series to me—I’ve watched it too. Everyone interprets things through their own lens. Our senses of justice don’t align. In my justice system, someone’s guilt must first be confirmed. Otherwise, anyone can go around killing others in the name of revenge without proper cause. That’s not for me. Clearly, since that seems acceptable to you, we’re never going to agree. Respectfully."

Some of us had similar feelings for the FL and the script has not favoured her character much going forward, however…
She has a decent character in other respects, but she shouldn't have made that fatal mistake. A single fatal mistake ruins the whole character. That's why I stopped watching a few series, such as Wonderland of Love and Go East. I hope it turns out the way you said. I think the finale will be aired today, but I started watching it last night and I'm on the 10th episode, so I'll be able to watch the finale a day or two later. My only hope is that no one on the team, especially Bei Ming and his red-clad rival Zhuge, dies in the finale. I don't really care what happens to the woman after what she did :D My opinion won't change until I see the finale. :D

The series could have been perfect if it weren't for such a stupid female character. What she did in the third episode changed the fate of the entire series. By adding such a stupid, brainless female character to this beautiful series, they have added a ridiculous cliché. I hate clichés that are poisonous. And the brainless girl in the lead role is the cause of this. There's no way to make up for her mistake. No matter what she does from now on, no matter how mature she becomes, if they don't find a solution to this problem, I'll hate this female character until the end. Unfortunately, the series will never get a perfect score. The other two male characters in the series, especially Bei Ming and Zhuge's sweet rivalry, are great, but the girl is ruining my mood. Especially when Bei Ming's aide confronts the girl at every opportunity, it eases my mind a bit, but every time I see the girl, I curse her. I will never forgive her, I will never tolerate her. I can understand stabbing him a bit (because it wasn't fatal), but playing with poison? How could a law enforcement officer, who has been with the defendant since childhood and suspects his guilt, act so recklessly to neutralize him? Especially someone she loves. Did she never use logic in her head for three years? Moreover, she trusts everyone so easily in other cases. What a contradiction. She's a complete idiot. She definitely made it into my list of most hated female characters. I would never empathize with someone like that.

Not: I watched episode 9 and I still hate her. If the main character dies from poisoning, I might end up hating the rest of the series despite its overall quality.

The only way to make up for this and for my hatred to subside is for them to eliminate the poison. There is no other solution.

I waited for the episodes to accumulate and finally started watching. It's a great start for the first two episodes. A clever plot. A killer similar to Professor James Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes. He holds the strings and it's very difficult for the puppets to escape. Everyone will pay the price for what they've done. The lead role and his aides don't have an easy task. Adrenaline, adrenaline, adrenaline. This series has a much higher quality and more fluid plot than the recently concluded investigative series Coroner Diary. If the rest of the series is like this, it definitely deserves a much higher rating.

It was beautiful. A drama that wasn't suffocating. It could have been even better without the family members, ex-boyfriend, and annoying friend, but it was beautiful from the couple's perspective
On A Passionate Kiss Aug 12, 2025
The couple was beautiful. Especially Wang Kai Mu's love, but the annoying intrigues dampened my mood. One intriguer ended and another began. They exaggerated the dose again.
On Yin Cha Yang Cuo Ai Shang Ni Aug 9, 2025
The leading lady is a complete idiot and is easily manipulated. They don't explain things to each other properly. Cheap intrigue. The male lead has great charisma, but he's a complete blockhead at critical moments when he should be protecting his girl. Everyone falls for the cheap whore's words. An infuriating series.

There are no scenes with a straight lead role. Supporting characters and events take up unnecessary space. It's a mini-series anyway, what's the point of watching if we don't see the leads. And the drama is unfinished, it's nonsense. Where is the other part
