It's been 14 episodes and I haven't seen any progress except for the first 4 episodes. The screenwriter forgot the male lead of the series and the love that should develop with him. The script keeps going round and round with unnecessary scenes in the same place. 40 episodes yes, but there should not be so many empty episodes, the story should have a flow. I continue hoping that the scenes with Nan heng will increase. I hope the story will open up in the remaining episodes.

If the girl only helps his masked self, who's going to relieve Nan heng's loneliness? Who will support him ? This masked part should not be prolonged and we should move on to the story of the main protagonists, otherwise the love part does not work for me. For such a big production and entrance, a beautiful and exciting romance would suit.

If there has to be a dramatic ending, the perfect ending is a quality ending where the leads are accompanied by strong supporting roles. That's why I love that series so much despite the dramatic ending. If there is to be a happy ending, there is no point in being unnecessarily realistic and sacrificing the supporting roles and couples. It's not a real history. The pace is too slow, the plots are overdramatic like some old dramas, the plot is full of endless deadly intrigue and the secondary characters who commit a lot of sins are made sympathetic just because of their past. I'm sorry but I hated both sister and brother and nothing can make them sympathetic. I wish the girl's sister had died early on, before anyone, including herself, found out about her past, and I hope she pays for what she did with her life. I got bored even though I kept speeding up the show. I wanted to watch it to the end just because I was curious about the events in the trailer, but neither the loves nor the relationships nor the events nor the enemies nor the side characters are interesting. In general, it's a frustrating, languid and ridiculously intriguing show. Also, watching Bai lu in similar characters is getting boring. Her constant arrogant, patronizing, pointless talking and overconfident behavior seems fake now. She always has an unnecessarily dominant attitude. Her attitude of wanting to know everything and dominate everything is too antipathetic. Especially in the first episodes when she had no power, her cocky attitude towards Fan yue and his people was very glaring. It was a very sweet romantic series with a light consistency and a lot of fun. Alen suits the naughty roles very well. I liked it even more than the previous Desert drama. I loved the 4 men and 4 women in the main cast and the servant crew, and the sweet little girl I've seen a lot in recent dramas. We can say that there was no character we hated too much. The first half is quite enjoyable with flirting, pushing, pulling and playful scenes. Then the drama calms down a bit, but it gets exciting again in the battle scenes at the end. And the light fun never ends.
