want the actors in something with a better script

What I Liked
- the step mom
- fishing setting
- visuals
- the director is in the series
Room For Improvement
- it made no sense to give a romantic main lead a nice, visibly pregnant girlfriend, why didn't they just have him be single?, the audience learned something very important way too late (end of episode 7)
- the innuendo/crassness was too much
- started with a flash forward
- having sex while sleeping seemed pretty nonsense to me
- some of the music didn't fit like goofy music during a serious scene
- felt like they used the first take for every scene
- a character did something completely nonsense and out of character
- there was no emotional punch due to the ai generated content in the finale and what characters had done before
- the ending (see my spoiler comment), I generally dislike this type of ending because I want the writer/s to commit and it feels like having it both ways
