good chemistry with lackluster worldbuilding

What I Liked
- mutual want
- supportive friends and brother
- the mom had some consequences
Room For Improvement
- the first episode is a bit confusing/choppy, but it settled down in the second episode, the finally explained things in episode 9
- didn't feel the side couple and the random supernatural power
- cliche wannabe girlfrend
