Maybe? But in my opinion (hope this doesn't offend you), I didn't really like how you worded it. Sifeng's love may have seemed stupid to some, but in my eyes, his love is the purest love, he will do anything for Xuanji. He has stayed loyal to her for many lives, and will always be by her side no matter what. I WILL admit, though, that we all have lied, and we have lied many many times. But think about it, if you love someone very very much, would you just tell them about your pain? Um, definitely not. Love is about protecting, it is also about sharing, but not in the way where it can hurt your loved one. If Sifeng "gave her a chance to help him bear his pain by being honest", then that would just show us that he doesn't really love Xuanji as much as we thought he does. But instead, his silent sufferings has shown us the purest love, love so pure that evil will never be able to take over it, love so pure that even if it means sacrificing himself, he will still be happy as long as Xuanji is safe and sound. "Lies" is a strong word. Sifeng did "lie", but what he really did was silently bearing the pain that he forbid himself to say out loud. This drama shows us many sides of love, the sweet sides, the bitter sides, the sour sides and the spicy sides.

I think why many people thought that the happy ending wasn't enough for them was because they were expecting more. The bar is set very very high for this drama, and it certainly has not disappointed me. I agree that the first few episodes were kind of bland, but I feel like most drama start out that way and get better and better. Some dramas start off great, but then go downhill.

People, STOP COPYING OTHER PEOPLE'S REVIEWS!!! This happened to me before, and thankfully, it got deleted, but someone else had copied another review, and this is not to be tolerated. It is disgusting and selfish. So, if you're considering to write a review, please do not copy someone else's. It won't get you anywhere.

Oh, and these are not plot holes. They didn't tell the audience directly so that we can think more about this drama. Not everything is presented to us on a silver platter :)
