Maybe? But in my opinion (hope this doesn't offend you), I didn't really like how you worded it. Sifeng's love may have seemed stupid to some, but in my eyes, his love is the purest love, he will do anything for Xuanji. He has stayed loyal to her for many lives, and will always be by her side no matter what. I WILL admit, though, that we all have lied, and we have lied many many times. But think about it, if you love someone very very much, would you just tell them about your pain? Um, definitely not. Love is about protecting, it is also about sharing, but not in the way where it can hurt your loved one. If Sifeng "gave her a chance to help him bear his pain by being honest", then that would just show us that he doesn't really love Xuanji as much as we thought he does. But instead, his silent sufferings has shown us the purest love, love so pure that evil will never be able to take over it, love so pure that even if it means sacrificing himself, he will still be happy as long as Xuanji is safe and sound. "Lies" is a strong word. Sifeng did "lie", but what he really did was silently bearing the pain that he forbid himself to say out loud. This drama shows us many sides of love, the sweet sides, the bitter sides, the sour sides and the spicy sides.

I think why many people thought that the happy ending wasn't enough for them was because they were expecting more. The bar is set very very high for this drama, and it certainly has not disappointed me. I agree that the first few episodes were kind of bland, but I feel like most drama start out that way and get better and better. Some dramas start off great, but then go downhill.

People, STOP COPYING OTHER PEOPLE'S REVIEWS!!! This happened to me before, and thankfully, it got deleted, but someone else had copied another review, and this is not to be tolerated. Hao Chen didn't know Sifeng's identity until the last few episodes when he was in heaven. The reason he didn't want Sifeng and Xuanji to be together was that he wanted to control Xuanji, aka Luo Hou Ji Du, and if she had found romance, then she would be very hard to control. Hao Chen wasn't born evil, he was actually good until an inner heart demon took over him, making him think that he was doing everything right for the three realms. He and LHJD were actually very close friends at the beginning, but Hao Chen had used his friend later, creating God of War (aka Xuanji or Zhan Shen)
Your second question does not have an exact answer, because it's not mentioned in the drama, but knowing that his ten mortal lives were from his original identity Xi Xuan, he will definitely go back to the heavenly realm after he dies as the demon Yu Sifeng. And, assuming that you're also wondering if Xuanji will go back as well, my answer is that she will, because God of War is also an immortal. She is not LHJD anymore, because LHJD had separated their two bodies, so she is just GoW. They will always be together (meaning YSF and CXJ) because destiny and fate has tied them together forever.
