Never a fan and never paid any attention to him besides what is happening now. All I can say is that I'm terribly upset for everyone who worked hard for the Golden Hairpin and ESPECIALLY for the many girls that suffered because of him. This is absolutely disgusting, he doesn't deserve any second chances or popularity at all...Unfortunately, he did not cherish his popularity and destroyed his even brighter future with his own hands. Remember: Don't be too obsessed with any celebrity as they may disappoint you greatly. (then there are the crazy fans who try to 'protect' their idol no matter what they did. *rolls eyes*) The reason why I have a minimal number of favorite celebrities.

Ah, this drama never had any glitchy ratings, it was just between 8.3 a d 8.4 at some point in time. This time, though, the MDL ranking has increased a lot.

Ha! 8.4! I assure you, this will be a 8.6 drama at the very least.

MTD was a pleasant watch for some. I actually was very invested in it the first few episodes, but then people started to drop it. I'm not a dropper, so I decided to watch the whole drama, but around the middle, fastforwarding became my best friend and 2x speed soon followed. It's a nice background drama, though, something that could be on if you're doing housework, art, or something else.

Oh gosh, Miss the Dragon and Ancient Love Poetry are on totally different steps of the status pyramid. MTD is a peasant while Ancient Love Poetry is the emperor. MTD has a much lower budget and was absolutely boring the second half. I gave it a 6.5 while I gave ALP a 10.

I guess some people enjoyed it, but very few loved it, besides the second couple.

8.3 is a good score. Considerably low for those high-budget Xianxias, but over the past 12 hours, the MDL ranking for ALP has increased from #551 to #479. This is because the drama started on a rather slow note, but the pace quickened and the story got more interesting.

LAR had been my favorite Xianxia ever since it finished airing, but ALP just became my new favorite. It may seem very Xianxia-tropey at the beginning, but you'll realize that the story is pretty different. Worth watching 100% if you enjoyed at the previous famous Xianxias. :D

It's very unlikely that there will be another high-budget Xianxia like Ancient Love Poetry that will air in 2021. I think that directors and people working in the drama industry have realized the Xianxia trend and are trying to make sure that there are only one or two Xianxias per year. Some have just wrapped up filming, so it's very unlikely that any will air this year besides Immortality.
