Well, this is just the Cdrama world. A lot of the same kind of FLs. This cliche is starting to fade away, though. Relationships in China are definitely not similar. Every relationship on earth is different. (I'm Chinese) But I guess it's kind of like a drama tradition, something that is done very often and people just get used to it. Misunderstandings are frustrating and may be unnecessary, but many dramas have them, not just Cdramas. Also, 'in Cdramas it happens in every show' is a false claim. I could name quite a few Cdramas off the top of my head that could rebut this claim.
