I have to admit that these comments are more entertaining then most dramas I have watched. Keep it up, spammers! My high popcorn and soda intake depends on you!
Personally, this was too long and way too dramatic for me. It had all of the cliches of dramas: characters dying…
People have different opinions about this drama. As a die-hard Xianxia fan, I think the reason you thought that the drama was dramatic is probably because Xianxia is just not for you. And that's okay. If you did not like Eternal Love, I would not recommend you watch any other Xianxia romance dramas that are very popular on MDL, because they follow the same basic concepts. Kudos for finishing this, though! It's a rather long drama.
Hi, I've never watched xianxia drama before and I wonder: should I try Ashes of Love (which has a higher rating…
Honestly, it doesn't really matter. I would just say that you should watch both of them. These Xianxia romance dramas are all breathtaking, from the CGI to the costumes to the actors and the story itself. But if you really are unsure which to watch first, you should read the reviews and follow your gut.
What episode will Dong Hua and Feng Jiu be together? I want to know because I just started the drama?
I haven't rewatched this in a long time, but: -They have their first "official" kiss on episode 34/35 -They consummate episode 48. (I'm pretty sure, but I am not fully certain)
It is not confirmed, although the director did give a very vague hint about a "season 2". This was based on a…
This is NOT the second season, nor is it the trailer. It is just a short clip that the team filmed to soothe the fans who are hoping to see more of the cute couple. There is no information about a Love and Redemption 2 from any main source, and it is just a rumor. Rumors are fact-less, and no one should believe them until they are confirmed.
Even if this will have a second season, [almost] everyone who loves this drama will not be interested in seeing, as I've written to quite a few people, the two main leads being led into another catastrophe that destroys their happy ending. If the director and screenwriter gave us this episode 59 just to tell us that they suddenly decided to change the ending, then there's really no point.
If the season 2 is in a modern world, they are basically just recollecting their memories that they had together in the first season, and the "masterpiece" label that many viewers have given this drama will disappear. Ask any die-hard L&R fan what they think of a second season. While it may seem exciting, it is way too cliche and boring.
Look at all the other Xianxia dramas. They are all based off of novels, and they followed the novel and had an ending that mostly matched the novel. Love and Redemption is not an exception. The novel ends with them marrying, having children, getting a happily ever after, etc.
So, what I'm trying to say is that it is: (1) Not confirmed. (2) There is no point and while we all hope to see more Xuanji-Sifeng moments, a S2 is completely unnecessary.
Although if there really is a season 2, it will be not have the same actors and it will not be as loved or treasured. In fact, it may even receive hate because of the bland "reincarnate to modern world" plot. There could be a possibility of an indirect season 2, with the story being set in the same world, but there will be different characters.
Whew, I wrote a lot. If you go to the L&R 2 page, you'll also see that it is unconfirmed. So, all in all, don't listen to those boring rumors. They are never helpful.
Bye bye! :)
And you made a great point.
Xie Yun eventually does get his fighting ability back, but I think you'll have to wait until the very end.
Hope you enjoy the dramas!
