I see that you've never watched any Xianxia dramas. Most Cdrama watchers love this genre. Xianxia is a blend of immortals, cultivation and magic. Some of the most popular Xianxia romance dramas include Eternal Love, Ashes of Love and of course, Love and Redemption. Why do these dramas have such high overall ratings? Because most people loved the dramas!

Xianxia is incomplete without misunderstandings. They add frustration and anger, but also gives you more motivation to finish this series for the happy ending you've been hoping for since episode 1.Some watchers thought that L&R had too many misunderstandings, but I personally thought that the sacrifices each of the leads made for each other were more than worth it. Love and Redemption has top-notch acting, amazing cgi, the most lovable characters, and of course, a story with such an intriguing story plot.

If you are really intimated by the 59 episodes, then you should not watch this. There are many amazing dramas that are very long. I'm not a stalker, but I did take a look at your dramalist. If you think about it, L&R isn't that long, considering the minutes the Kdramas you watched are. Most Cdrama episodes are 45 minutes, while Kdrama episodes go over 1 hour. Just an irrelevant point, but I have persuaded people by using this method. Don't worry, you're not the only one afraid of long dramas. I'm also not in the mood for them. But try something new! I never thought that I would watch Kdramas, but I just completed my first one yesterday, and it was quite enjoyable! If you watch and finish L&R, I'm 99% sure that you'll think that 59 episodes is far from enough. At least, that's what the majority of viewers think.

If you do start this, though, I'll be delighted! But beware, when you enter the world of Xianxia, you'll probably never be able to escape. :)

Yup. Pathetic, disgusting and desperate all in one. I liked him until I didn't. How does he not understand that even if he "gets the girl", he will only have her body, but not her heart? This kind of love isn't healthy at all. In fact, I don't think it's love anymore. It's most like obsession.

Yeah. I agree. I think there could be the tiniest bit of affection, but it obviously can't be compared to the amount of hatred she harbors toward the Wang family. After all, Wang Xuan's father and her aunt killed most of the Xie family.

Yeah, there might be some affection, but the hatred is clearly visible. After all, they have spent a lot of time together so Wanru probably does care about Zilong at least a little.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think she is jealous because of that, though. She didn't want to marry Xiao Qi at all when after her father told her. In fact, I don't think Wanru is jealous of Wang Xuan at all. She just hates her.

Now I'm starting to wonder how Sifeng managed to survive without all that blood. And I bet Cheng Yi was really uncomfortable with all that liquid in his mouth. Nonetheless, he's awesome (ahem, I mean Sifeng and Cheng Yi) and I'm just adding this unnecessary comment to get to the 14000 comment milestone faster.

Guys, try to spread more L&R love! I managed to get quite a few people to watch this drama, and I'm sure you guys can as well! :)

1) Sifeng was obviously holding his child. They had a child before Linglong and Mingyan because...they just did. I don't think it really needs an explanation. Some couples get children earlier than others.
2) Wu Zhiqi and Zi Hu were in their own little world. (aka they were starting their own little life together) There's no real answer, unless you ask the author and director.
3) I don't think it was necessary for every character to be at the party. You could also use your imagination. Most endings don't feature all the characters.

Dijun- If you were attentive in Eternal Love, you would know that Donghua had been the Heavenly Emperor before, but he passed the throne to the current Heavenly Emperor, which is why he is the most respected immortal in the Realms. This Bai Lin Dijun is different.

The people in charge of the rating are the watchers of the show, not MDL itself. And besides, only 8 people rated it on Imdb, so you can't really make a fair comparison.
