This is the first time I’ve seen a character with the same condition as me, and I actually teared up. I could relate to him so much, it felt like I was seeing myself from someone else’s point of view.
I don’t mind not being able to hear from one ear, but sometimes it gets really hard. Everything he said when he was talking to her felt so true. Sometimes the noises get so overwhelming that I even catch myself thinking it would be easier to just be fully deaf instead of constantly struggling with sound on one side.
Seeing this kind of representation truly means more than I can explain💛
