I think it's rated too high for what it was. The scenes as teenagers didn't bother me. It wasn't explicit at all and I thought they did so much better in acting than their adult counterparts.

Furukawa-san's part was very well done and he's so handsome. I can't believe he wasn't one of the leads.

Left much to be desired and I don't think they were aesthetically compatible but it wasn't the worst thing I've seen.

I loved this series but it's weird how you got attacked for sharing your opinion, anyway jom was a bit too much…
I have a lot of favorites but they are mostly Taiwanese or Japanese BLs. If I have to pick a Thai one I'd go with Moonlight Chicken. I didn't finish Last Twilight but that one also started off pretty good. Love Mechanics was okay.

Lockdowns made some of these series very popular but if they released today they probably wouldn't get half the hype.

I have to give GMMTV credit for pairing their successful actors and pushing a series at least once a year. Even if they don't have an active series they are still busy with events and tours. Every other market falls off. Japan, Korea, Taiwan. No matter how talented they will just evaporate from acting. It's really weird.

I think all the whole industry is oversaturated right now. Especially with music. Everything is so cookie cutter. Why isn't he still acting?
On Takara-kun & Amagi-kun Jun 30, 2024
Something I think Japanese (and Taiwanese) dramas do really well is immerse the viewer into the series. I never feel like I'm watching people just read lines to me. Which is exactly how Thai and Korean dramas come across.

Even if I don't like the storyline, their acting, music and cinematography is always top notch. That and the Japanese language is so phonetically pleasing to hear.

That rat face love rival has to be one of the most irritating and unwelcome things in this drama. Like a giant…
OMG yes. Him and the constant screaming from fan the girls. The friends were also annoying. Don't even get me started on the roaming gangs just casually beating people with bats. This series sucked. It just got hype because everyone was dealing with covid lockdowns. A lot of things that were popular then got overhyped.

Oh for crying out loud, the time it takes for them to exchange single words is maddening! I found myself screaming…
Just standing there like this:

👁️👄👁️

One time the screen froze and it took like 2 full minutes for me to realize 🤣. I was just complaining earlier about the endless monologuing in a Thai series earlier. I really don't know which is worse anymore lol.

why tho?
I think that's BS. It was a soft launch to change partners to Mew.
On The Ocean Eyes Jun 25, 2024
So was all this "retiring" just Tul's way of trying to switch BL partners? I know that this series is not BL. But they did several interviews and photoshoots and it was giving vibes.

IDK.

Something about Mew is just......disingenuous to me.
On Manner of Death Jun 25, 2024
My only complaint is that in Thai dramas, they take forever to get to the point. So much monologuing. Especially from the villains in this one. They must think it creates dramatic effect, but it's really grating. Also, all the characters were infuriatingly dumb at times. I mean any horror movie trope that exists is basically in here 🤣.

Not turning their back to people obviously trying to kill them could have spared them all a lot of problems. Like what is the reason? Episode 13 was well done though.

you talk as if your opinion is relevant, the only tedious thing here is your lack of taste
You're just parroting my comments. All that bark and no bite. Yawn. The only thing you run here is your mouth. Remember that for the next one.

You speak as if your reply is relevant. Lol little girl, fall back. Because you will not out petty me, I assure you. Try me if you want to.

Imagine haunting the message board. LMAO how pathetic.
On The Eighth Sense Jun 23, 2024
I think people oversimplified the ending. In Buddhism the 8th sense is known as the base sense. It's the storehouse for all the other senses and where they believe karmic seeds are planted. If you continuously plant bad seeds you will just repeat the past mistakes with a flawed consciousness and never let it go. We saw that happen in real time with Ji Hyun's accident. The prophecy became self fulfilled because Jae Won lived that trauma everyday.

At the end Ji Hyun asked Jae Won if they were going to be okay. And the answer was that he didn't know, but they would try together. I took that literally such that he doesn't know the future but he knows he wants Ji Hyun in it. They will live in the moment, rewrite their story and build the relationship together. Episode 10 is the redemption arc where everyone is coming together to plant new seeds in their hearts. And they have to wait to see how they will grow.

All that said I think it would have worked better as a movie. There were some pacing issues and a lot of filler that could have been omitted. The redemption arc was rushed. The last episode could have been a continuation of the end of episode 9. They could have shown the redemption arc as flashbacks as they were driving like they were in the end of episode 10. Then when Ji Hyun asked if they were going to be okay, it would have been a more poignant way to tell the end of the story.

Why don't they try a TayGun series? Because clearly there is a fly in the milk 👀. Switch up the teams a little. I feel like some of these pairings have run their course anyway.

The series was okay. I laughed a little. It was a good switch up from the seriousness of DBK but I feel like New repeatedly plays the exact same character.

Bored to tears. 90% of this is watching Jom stand there stuttering or with his mouth hanging open. I feel like the more MDL hypes something the worse it is. Can't trust the ratings around here anymore.

They were 19 when they filmed this series which is actually a very appropriate age for playing high schoolers.…
By comparison, Fluke, Earth and Prem are all older but they have the baby faces to pull off cute and silly. Fourth and Gemini both have very sharp masculine features. They can pull off way more mature themes. That's why Moonlight Chicken was so good. Despite them still being in high school, it wasn't with this kind of tone. They deserve better roles. GMMTV is wasting potential here.

Soooo I finally made my way thru this and dislike everyone equally 😂. Oh-aew was just as problematic as Teh, but got a huge pass with the fans.

Q was definitely a keeper. Oh should have got his lick back 😏
I'm definitely in the minority, but I didn't like any of these. The actors are too young. I can't rock with that.

For one, it weirds me out. The inexperience is also apparent. I guess I am spoiled by more mature themed BL's because I don't consider any of them good kissers.
