I keep thinking how has she hid this biatch attitude until now and pretended to be such a loving and kind person…
heh fair. I still will, for the leads' scenes, but nothing more. I guess for my part i will have to shelf Once Again for a bit due to both having the same actress, whoops. Ok Boon was waaaaay more reasonable tho, which yikes tells you everything you need to know
Kim Joon Ha how's his character? Is there love triangle?
he is trash, cheating, stalking, creepy trash that treats YD like a possession he needs to reclaim to restore his brittle ego after she dared to move on and be happy with TK. The audacity of her to not pine after her shitty ex after he told her to abort her child twice, belittled and gaslit her and fucked off to the US, sadly not forever.
He is so much trash, he should be named king of trash and rule over the toxic dumpster piles where he should be deposed forever, in fact. Yeondoo better get a restraining order for this fuckboi asap, bc that walking red flag certainly will never care for her thoughts and feelings and accept none of her, by now.... four-six rejections?
TK moon is a real shady fake witch. This woman really is the epitome of hypocritical fool. Madam you married a…
right? Even Patrick was like... well after consideration i am okay with it because the two really love each other and want to raise the child together.
Like... PATRICK was the REASONABLE Gong in this episode. When has the world turned upside down? Is this why i am walking on my hands atm? Gosh this explains so much 😆
from what i gathered the preview timeline is probably this:
YD is writing the letter, calls heartless shrew to tell her she is giving up on TK and then goes back to pack her things in the night to vanish. Asshole mom gives him the letter all happy about it i guess, TK has the ring is devastated. He runs to the Oh's and they search for YD, (not so?) narrowly missing her. TK packs up his things and also leaves his fam bc fuck them. He is scavenger hunting hints of YD's whereabouts and travels to the places. 4-5 months pass. He has ended up working where he thinks she lives and they really meet again by chance. Jinjja/Haneul has once more united her parents.
So here is hoping the timejump will be in the middle of the episode, not the end.
BT, relax and enjoy the rest of your weekend. Don't stress out.I don't have twitter, but after watching the YouTube…
oh you mean the preview text? Nothing about hee in there nope (in the hangul one) I did not translate it this time tho, bc no motivation after todays eps but will do so with the one tomorrow. Since it is machine translated, you better read it with lots of grain of salts
oh nvm, saw you answered that, nope la drama did not write anything about hee. Just used the word "he" a lot is all xD

Wise decision, there is nothing good in this episode except their hugs and the beach scene at the end is cute. But i am soured on it due to what it meaaaaaans tbh. Still watch it to see them picking a name together and generally being happy for 2-3 minutes at least, lol. Kiss was really well done too, AJH does well to show how much his character loves YD. BUT I DID NOT WANT IT TO HAPPEN LIKE THIS LMAO. Why did they chance so much after all (from the spoilers,) ugh. I am gonna cry/punch (into) my pillow now 🙃

thanks, you too friendo <3 As i was saying this is why i haaaaaaaate this timejump and general trajectory of story atm. All too hasty, hurtling along into chaos. It does not leave any room for ANY of the plot threads to be resolved before we are all jumping ahead months, and are dizzy as hell because no one knows what has happened and where these people are and why. We are just forced into accepting all of this while trying not to barf due to the nausea this yanking pacing caused. Yeah no, not a fan. Should have waited another week, AT LEAST with all that. Would have given time for anyone to get a grip too, but naaaaah. We can't have nice things apparently.
The only good thing that is coming out of it is Taekyung ditching his ingrate family, and tbh i would never forgive my mother for this if i were him. Only if hell freezes over. Because fuck them all. Ironic how the most reasonable gong in the end was Patrick and granny tbh. I think it is him following her around like a scavenger hunt so him taking up work where he surmises YD to be makes sense. Preview does make it look like a chance encounter tho. Once more Haneul came through for her parents lol.
Also for a writer who supposedly loves to mock standard kdrama tropes, he is using a helluva whole bingo card with it in this and tomorrow's episode, like with that noble idiocy aplenty. That is not mocking it, that is playing this shitty trope as STRAIGHT as an arrow. I am majorly pissed at myself here that i thought the writer was better than that and trusted him not to do this shit, for once. Yeah, no. Same old, same fucking old.
all parents in this show should do some self-reflection!!!!!!!their selfish-ass started the lie!!!whoever strawberry…
i mean yeah, but also he was the reasonable one in this episode? Like one of the very few, along with DS? Even his best friend ditched TK, which... i am also side-eyeing hard tbh. Not Patrick being "Well they really love each other and want to raise the child together" and even tried to reason with momzilla but she was more offended by him knowing before her and not telling her. All about herself, all the time, no reflection, no brain, just egocentric bs.
Bongnim also did listen after the first shock was stomached, even if she was still hurt. She knew the biggest obstacle is not Taekyung, but momzilla. Hence why she tried to reason with this heartless shrew which yeah went as well as you thought it would. But lol at her taking away yd's phone as if she is a teenager, wth? So basically the whole problem is/was Inok alone here.
(However in the past they were all 문제이 together, who forced the leads hands into this position in the first place. TK with being used as a male childsbride, sold off to the worst person possible without anyone caring for what he wants, and YD with her wonderful mother trying to force an abortion and throwing her out of the home yd most likely paid for, not caring what she wants. Nope haven't forgotten that.)
i am not ready. I have no idea to write this thing honestly
oh i am watching it on netflix <3 i am only at episode 4 now, so basically FL is still in her baby (but crushing on ML era) I like how he knows but keeps it respectful and distant... like he should.
Two things really surprised me about this episode. In Ok's virulent reaction, I can understand her feeling betrayed…
she did for a second (she asked TK why he did that and he said to evade the marriage with slimy stinkbug right next to her lmao) before making everything about herself again, of course. Even as he said "it is my child, i want to raise Jinjja. I will be responsible for the child (not verbatim but sort of) she was just BUT WHAT ABOUT MEEEEEEEEEE? YOU LIEEEEED TO MEEEEEEEE ALL THIS TIIIIIIIME. I AM UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN WE ARE NOT ABOUT MEEEE.
Also i am pissed about YD's noble idiocy. She KNOWS EXACTLY that he will be miserable without her, but still is HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY LIFE TAEKYUNG LAAAAAATERS. Only shows me how much the writer has written himself in a corner here that he did not know how to solve it without old tired cliche bingo. Disappointing since the drama was actually good in avoiding it thus far.
So he must have cut ties.
