from what i gathered the preview timeline is probably this:

YD is writing the letter, calls heartless shrew to tell her she is giving up on TK and then goes back to pack her things in the night to vanish. Asshole mom gives him the letter all happy about it i guess, TK has the ring is devastated. He runs to the Oh's and they search for YD, (not so?) narrowly missing her. TK packs up his things and also leaves his fam bc fuck them. He is scavenger hunting hints of YD's whereabouts and travels to the places. 4-5 months pass. He has ended up working where he thinks she lives and they really meet again by chance. Jinjja/Haneul has once more united her parents.

So here is hoping the timejump will be in the middle of the episode, not the end.

Still watch it to see them picking a name together and generally being happy for 2-3 minutes at least, lol. Kiss was really well done too, AJH does well to show how much his character loves YD. It does not leave any room for ANY of the plot threads to be resolved before we are all jumping ahead months, and are dizzy as hell because no one knows what has happened and where these people are and why. We are just forced into accepting all of this while trying not to barf due to the nausea this yanking pacing caused. Yeah no, not a fan. Should have waited another week, AT LEAST with all that. Would have given time for anyone to get a grip too, but naaaaah. We can't have nice things apparently.

The only good thing that is coming out of it is Taekyung ditching his ingrate family, and tbh i would never forgive my mother for this if i were him. Only if hell freezes over. Because fuck them all. Ironic how the most reasonable gong in the end was Patrick and granny tbh. I think it is him following her around like a scavenger hunt so him taking up work where he surmises YD to be makes sense. Preview does make it look like a chance encounter tho. Once more Haneul came through for her parents lol.

Also for a writer who supposedly loves to mock standard kdrama tropes, he is using a helluva whole bingo card with it in this and tomorrow's episode, like with that noble idiocy aplenty. That is not mocking it, that is playing this shitty trope as STRAIGHT as an arrow. i mean yeah, but also he was the reasonable one in this episode? Like one of the very few, along with DS? Even his best friend ditched TK, which... i am also side-eyeing hard tbh. Not Patrick being "Well they really love each other and want to raise the child together" and even tried to reason with momzilla but she was more offended by him knowing before her and not telling her. All about herself, all the time, no reflection, no brain, just egocentric bs.

Bongnim also did listen after the first shock was stomached, even if she was still hurt. She knew the biggest obstacle is not Taekyung, but momzilla. Hence why she tried to reason with this heartless shrew which yeah went as well as you thought it would. But lol at her taking away yd's phone as if she is a teenager, wth? So basically the whole problem is/was Inok alone here.
