atleast DFC got the girl.

That humming sound/ music everytime there’s an intimate interaction between XL and XY makes their scene more heartbreaking.
The director loves to torture us, he would show them bickering then there would be a shift like a sad look from XL, then that sad tune comes up.😭

true! apart from XL (best chemistry), CX even has better chemistry with XY. if only he was given more screen time with her.. I think jing was portrayed as the good guy became boring in the long run. the puppy eyed look and staring at XY hopelessly inlove worked during first episodes. after that it’s meh..

I dropped love like a galaxy because season 1 is too boring for me. but since since I saw this I’ll pick it up again. I just need someone like XL to be happy and get the girl.

I like XY, but after episode 33 her character is messed up. she’s the red flag.

episode 32 right now.. XY doesn’t deserve XL. he’s too good for her. After everything he did for her, that’s it?! is she that densed? it’s good that she ends up with jing. he’ll bore her to death, good thing he’s rich. She can be the next real housewife of Haoling. happy ending.

I'm for XL but yes their relationship is also of a different kind. The actor playing CX is awesome. I cannot hate the character, he makes you want to root for him no matter what. plus he is very very good looking. I don’t know if he’s popular in China but damn! especially with his hair down.

I bought Express but I’m still on episode 31. I cannot bear seeing XL this sad. I know this ship will never sail but damn, my heart breaks for him.

thanks! I didn’t quite notice it because his reaction was too subtle. I was expecting him to make a fuzz/ get really jealous when he finds out because XL had been his nemesis for hundreds of years. I guess he was never really threatened with XL lovewise.
