If after episode 9, you still don’t like it then this is not for you. The FL has one of the best character development.

But don’t pressure yourself if you can’t take it just stop. I also dropped a lot of highly rated cdrama because It’s just not for me.

Rewatching this again while waiting for the new episodes of TTEOTM. Episode 9 really is the turning point. After that episode, it’s just perfect for me. The effects, the OST, dylan, the supporting characters.. even the voice of the FL doesn’t bother me that much. It adds to her innocence and essence of purity which is in contrast with the ML. Sometimes I try to imagine a different actress for the FL but esther really sold the role for me. She’s very believable in her portrayal of innocence and bravery. I’m not a fan of hers but I think this role is really her.

She’s also one of my favorites. I love that she acts her age in her dramas and doesn’t act/ sound like a child like most Chinese actresses.

He’s just too passive when it comes to san jiu and too trusting when it comes to tain huan, that’s why I can’t empathize with him. Like during co cultivation, he would wait the whole day for her. Like who does that?! Go look for her.

Yup! Probably the reason why I was obsessed with DFQC in LBFD before. Can’t wait for TTJ to be back! I’ll miss evil san jiu though. Bai lu is breathtakingly beautiful in her evil mode

I really hate ming ye. He’s the perfect example of a classic hero who would sacrifice his girl to save the world. Yes I get that he’s secretly trying to save san jiu but he kept on listening to other people’s advice and kept on ignoring san jiu until she became full evil..
the revenge at the end is satisfying. I love san jiu. She’s actually perfect for TTJ haha

I miss the naughty and smart TTJ! I miss the way TTJ and susu looked at each other. The way they would smile when they find each other. Even when they are plotting against each other or want to strangle each other, their eyes, It speaks DEISRE.🔥🔥

MY is easily manipulated and too passive when it comes to sang jiu. Like he would just wait for sang jiu to come and find him. Like go find her dude!! It frustrates me while watching them.

Give it a try, I was also skeptical at first. But his weight is part of his character. He was starved to death since birth that’s why he’s skinny. So when you watch it you will realize he’s perfect for the role.

I think it’s because nobody ever showed him what kindness is. Everyone betrayed him and those who tried to befriend him are only using him.

I think losing weight was really for the role. His character was literally starved to death since he was a baby. It would be ridiculous if he’s big. So people with negative comments probably haven’t watched it yet.

I am obsessed with this couple. Even when they want to kill each other, their chemistry is so palpable. I just want them to be happy in the end, they both deserve it.

This series hunted me for months.. i love both leads. Can’t watch another series of nini after this because I ship her with chen kun so bad.
It’s hard to explain but if you love a ruthless male lead and a smart female lead this series is for you.
