I’m in episode 20, can someone explain why ru yi is hiding her identity from Li tong? I mean wouldn’t it be more convenient for everyone if she just revealed herself? Li tong is literally crazy for her. He would do anything for her. So they don’t need all these talks and formality if she admits that she’s his master.

I’m still in episode 17, I have never seen a troop that loves to gossip as much as the Wu soldiers. lol I hope they survive.😆

I watched this because I wanted a grey/ red flag ML to finally get the girl. but when you continue to watch the show XW is not a red flag. He’s very petty yes, but red flag? No! He folds easily when it comes to JXN. He will threaten her so she would behave but would support her decisions and secretly save her.

Since I’m rewatching this again, I realized that there’s an OST for how each character felt.
Usually in a drama they have a song for a romantic scene or a sad scene, etc.. but here, it’s like a theme song for how a character felt or what they went through.
Like JXN’s snow season. At first, it played when she saw ZZ again. But the moment she finally accepted her love and affection for XW, it began to play every time she saw him.
While XW's song- Won’t see you in three thousand worlds, played every time he burns for JXN.😂
Yan lin’s song- Like a dream. I’m not sure if ZZ has his own song.

I wish bai lu can have another evil empress role with more screen time. She looks very regal and stunning in her first life in SOKP.

Yan lin will always have my heart next to XS. The actor did a very good job. Too bad he didn’t get much credit.
