Has anyone read the web novel yet and spoil it if it’s a happy ending…? 🤭 I’m at ep 18 and if I have to watch until last ep 29 , my heart is only ready for a happy ending….!
Very exasperating plots….Feels like watching drama from back in the days when they could only stick to 1 or 2 plots and everyone had the same problems or everyone is linked to one another 🙄
Overall it’s worth watching 32 eps. Although it may be a bit slow pace to some people, at least watching the last episode gives a happy and complete feeling of ‘worth it’ ^^
I’m one of those who need to see a lengthened romance between the leads, like a proper, clear, happy ending, especially if their courtship journey has been rocky AND it goes on for 38 episodes!! Lesson learned, need to check review before watching…🤪
At ep 13 and I’m already dragging to watch the same problems repeating again & again between the three couples. Is it worth to continue watching…? Can’t imagine what more exasperating stories to come until the last ep 24 😅
My eyes are swollen now…..very touching story. Amazing casts, everyone acted so well. Since the two leads stayed together, I’ll still call it a good ending, although not a happy one knowing that he’ll be gone in a matter of time.
The beginning episodes were so touching for me, about QQ’s struggles and her beautiful relationship with her grandpa. I love the intense staring between QQ & ZJ but exasperated as ZJ kept backing off. I stopped watching at ep 12 not because it’s a bad drama, but because the drama is too good, amazing acting from the leads & the story is too realistic, that my heart breaks & couldn’t handle the open & vague ending. I need to be certain that QQ have a happy ending with ZJ after all her emotional past, struggles and strong determination to be better 😊
Surprised to see some comments about Mi Gu. Her character may not be likeable but it’s quite common & realistic. There are many people who fall head-over-heel on someone & lose their rationality/common sense. So I can see why Mi Gu was the way she was.
As for Xiao Xue, her character was quite realistic too for people with trauma & without proper therapy treatments, thus her explosive & utter loud screams (exaggerated for drama sake). Surprised that the writer continued giving her sad story line until the end.
With the main lead, Xia Chu, yes, her impulsive & stubborn character is quite scary especially as a medical surgeon. What questionable is how could the hospital manage this kind of impulsive & stubborn medical professionals. Other than that, her character seems normal, cheery kind of person.
What I dislike the most is how they were unable to save Tian Yong! It’s like sending a highly skilled special force soldier with a crappy under-cover mission plan. They did not have plan B which was to rescue him! Still can’t get over it >.<
I feel sorry for the male lead, Fan Zhixin, as his drama ratings are quite low. He should get top score for his acting skills, but the drama story lines somehow always with flaws. Hopefully he’ll get many more good offers as main lead.
omg, what did I just watch....First off, I gave it a 7.5 for... something. I don't know exactly what. It had a…
I thought it’s just me but I agree with the strangling thing, at least give an explanation why he’s so rough at the start that he could grab woman by the throat when in anger. The more I watched, the more obvious that the director only emphasizes the romance between the main leads, so other details are off the roof & let them hang in the air. Why bother introducing plots of murder, family disputes, & business battles when they leave question marks.
You described it well about Shi Jian. There was something about her that didn’t quite click but I couldn’t find exactly what. Now that you said it, yes….she smiled too much that often did not suit the scenes. She was like that too in My Sunshine. I couldn’t understand the point of this drama & can’t believe it goes all the way to 45 ep
No pulling factors from s1 ep1, thus fast-forwarded through s2, s3….yet still a waste of time. I should have checked the ratings & reviews beforehand….
From ep 20 onwards, everything becomes about the ml and fl. They have a lot of scenes together and very very affectionate…
...I don't understand too. Not 1, not 2, but 3 men fell in love with 2FL and her character was so snobbish & unlovable, I was quite disappointed with ML to be honest & having to endure 2FL with ML for a good 20 eps. The writer tried to save her by portraying her as a hard-working girl with rough hands & poor background, but I doubt it helped people to love her move...;p
I felt like you too, so I skipped until the part where FL became the lead, which is from ep 20 onwards. From then on, the bond between FL & ML became stronger & sweeter. So you can start watching from ep 20 & then move your way to the beginning ep, that way, you'll be assured how sweet is the relationship between FL & ML, it's worth the wait!
