Are we supposed to be rooting for Joe 2.0 and Ming to end up together? I honestly want Ming and Tong to end up together because those toxic a******s deserve the unhappiness they will bring each other!
I think I may have missed this part, but can someone explain how Lan Zhan knew it was Wei Ying at the start? Wei Ying keeps asking but I don’t think Lan Zhan replies? Was it the song Wei Ying plays?
Can someone explain to me why during Mi Hyun’s first mission she threw the grenade? Is it because Sang Gu was actually a double agent? The same guy that took over as leader of NIS or whatever that secret department was?
I really enjoyed this show! I loved the Japanese version and was so scared GMMTV would screw the Thai version up but they actually made it better! Here are a few things I loved about the show
1. We didn’t get the dreaded episode 11 curse with a stupid nonsensical break up! Achi and Karan were strong from the moment they got together! They may have spent time apart in episode 11 but it wasn’t a break up!
2. I really liked the 2nd couple way more in this version than the Japanese one. Jinta and Min were so cute and I loved their ending. I hope we get to see these actors in another show together.
3. The writers stuck pretty close to the manga but it still had its differences which I enjoyed.
4. The actors all looked amazing in suits 😂 when Thai actors do events or appearances stylists always put them in horrible over sized suits. I’m so glad this fashion trend didn’t appear in the show.
5. We are Pai and Pai is all of us! All her focus is on shipping her favourite BL couple! That girl had no time for love until she got her ship married! (Although I do kinda wish they had kept her asexual like the Japanese version, I'm not going to complain too much though because I like Pai and Rocks storyline as well)
Overall, I really liked this show. I might seem a bit slow but I loved it from start to finish and I think GMMTV did a good job with it. I’m looking forward to the other Japanese adaptions they plan to do.
This better end with Ji Won and Ji Hyuk at a BTS concert wearing head to toe merch waving a light stick and singing Spring Day! I will settle for nothing less!
did she btw qoute the song from Coldplay - yellow with: "you know, you know i love you so"was it a reference to…
Throughout the show they reference the song that was playing in the bar the first time they met. In the book version the song that is playing when they first meet is Coldplay's Yellow. It's a reference to that.
I read the comments before watching the first 2 episodes and I was genuinely confused because of how positive they were. This is a Korean BL, the comment section on MDL is usually filled with haters! Then I watched the first 2 episodes … and every positive comment is true! This is a gem already! I’m loving this!
I will absolutely love this show if all the bad things that happen to the FL only happen in her previous past. I want the FL to get her revenge and have nothing but good things happen!
However, I have a feeling this show is going to be my first kdrama heartbreak of 2024!
