I don’t mean to make anyone cry but we’ll probably never see Book, Poon and JJ in another show being the most chaotic trio like they were in this show! 😭
What did Uncle Tawan make Wine do to get the bracelets? Was that bit cut? Tawan was in the 2nd to last episode and I thought we would see in the last episode why Wine thought he was like a strict dog but there was nothing.
ML and FL after a bomb blast casually flirting over a water bottle - visually beautiful with the sunset and smoke and dirt on their beautiful faces. However, LOGICALLY - move away from the scene of the blast and get to safety!! Then flirt over a water bottle, or bandages or an apple or whatever. Just move!!
Maybe I’ve been watching a lot of BL’s recently but I kinda ship Benjamin an Sa Xin, it’s the whole enemies vibe 😆 if both stay alive to the end I’m gonna ship them every time they come on screen! (I don’t care that this is a Chinese show! Don’t ruin my dreams)
Ok I know everyone is pissed at Yotha but do you know what is pissing me off even more?!?? The make up artists!! Last week everyone was all shiny skinned, i just thought it was an interesting choice, tried not to focus on it too much. This week everyone is caked in make up and you can see it all over their clothes. Make up on Yotha’s shirt collar, on Arc’s t-shirt after hugging Arm, I’ll not give any spoilers but just look at Faifa’s and Warich’s shoulders after hugging people! Like come on! Get some setting spray on these guys!
A part of me (the part that likes to poke a bruise to feel the pain) wishes that it had ended whilst Great and Tyme where on the boat looking at the watch waiting for it to turn from 11:04 to 11:05 so that we never knew if they got out of the 4 minutes or not. Everyone would have hated it but it would have kept everyone guessing.
I have to list my favourite parts because that first episode was a rollercoaster!
1. When Rose ran up to Joker when she was being chased, Joker sizing up the bad guys then saying nope and walking away 😂😂
2. After being saved by Jack, Rose saying she’s completely fine but Jack standing there covered in blood side eyeing her.
3. Rose explaining her life story but Jack and Joker in the background low key flirting and not paying attention.
4. As Joker is stealing the money it cuts to Jack and he’s flicking his Bieber hair 🤣
5. The whole first episode is an origin story! So glad it was done in 1 episode.
6. That ending was so good! Definitely has me wanting more.
7. YinWar chemistry 😘 the way they smile at each other just makes me giggle!
I cant wait until the next episode! Yin has lost the Beiber hair cut and he looks good as an angry gangster!! Also looking forward to seeing more of Rose, the scenes with the three of them were good!
I've just finished watching and thank goodness because my anxiety levels went through the roof! I had to look away every time Mo Nv/ Ye Bing Chang came on the screen because I hated everything about her. I scared my dog every time Li SuSu / Ye Xi Wu thought Tantai Jin did something "bad" because I would scream at the TV for Tantai Jin or someone to tell her the truth.
LYX was phenomenal in this! How he acted when Ye Xi Wu died ... WOW! I can't get that out of my head. I tried watching Love is Panacea and really didn't like him in it and I also tried watching a few episodes of Love is Sweet but I couldn't get into it. I will try Love is Sweet again though because LYX and Bai Lu were just amazing. Bai Lu could have chemistry with a plank of wood though, she is an amazing actor.
Last 10 episodes were a bit choppy especially with Gongye Ji Wu. Not sure what was going on with him and his complete hatred for Tantai Jin. I thought Mo Nv had bewitched him or something.
