Kdramas aren’t always like this, take it from someone who has been watching since 2004, Kdramas are used to be very straightforward, the whole theorizing was just a social media influence and kpop influence, 2016 was the golden era of the kdramas (Goblin, DOTS, etc) and even then theories weren’t as widely spread as they are now, theories are now become so widely spread that the series’ fandom would throw tomatoes because their expectations are build with the theories, and the ending is not to their satisfactory.

Kdramas forums (soompi was the popular platform back in the day) was all about sharing your opinions on the characters and plot and talking about what’s going on so far, now everything is about theories.

Friendly reminder that theories are for fun, and don’t build your expectations around it. I’ve seen multiple kdramas where the fandom was building expectations based on theories but when none where correct, they blame the writers for hinting them when it was the fandom that interpreted them the way they did.

I’ve seen it even on sliced of life drama like 2521 where fandom had come up with all theories how the father of FL’s daughter was the ML even when they had different last name. Hospital Playlist as well suffered the same where it seems like it kept hinting a couple will have a wedding but did not happen.

can someone please explain to me about this whole shifting soul plan Naksu had plan in mind like how exactly it’s going to suck the energy of everyone inside the barrier? she was saying goodbye to them because somehow her shifting souls would kill everybody inside, and if it’s gonna kill everybody inside, who’s body is she trying to shift souls?? like I can keep rewatching this episode but it’s just not making sense for me what this whole plan was, so please those have brighter minds, kindly explain to me

I have one confusion in this episode, Do you have to be Hwansu level in order to control Ice Stone? JinMu had told Eunuch Kim that he might have ice stone with him and have the power of Hwansu level but he won’t be able to use it since he doesn’t know how to basically use it, does this mean Shaman Choi is Hwansu level considering she can use the Ice Stone?

JinMu threatened to set the place on fire, does that also mean he is Hwansu level or am I reading on this too much?

Shaman Choi had the ice stone on the side not within her does that mean she is consuming energy of others or once in awhile she takes the ice stone inside her? maybe I just need to sleep without overthinking lol

with the yin yang egg headline, are they gonna make it look like their feelings was because of yin yang egg? anyone who watch vampire diaries would feel like dejavu here, yin yang jade was said to DEEPEN the love between two lovers, it didn’t seems like it’s a love potion to make two people in love but that article for today’s episode feels like they are going for that route

unpopular opinion: I used to love that show but rewatching it as adult makes me realize how awful it is, main lead pinning for second female lead too long, female lead making the most stupid decisions

People often just see what they want to see, perspective is a huge deal. Yul has too much inetrest on what Mudeok likes so he can sense her feelings, Danggu put on his head that Mudeok likes Yul, Park Jin just recently notice the closeness of them but he is naive about love, Kim Doju was treated very well by Uk, she just think that Uk was the way he was to Mudeok like he does with her. Crown prince think she was just too loyal.

the supposed spoiler has been theorize, the ice stone was said to be unbreakable so i doubt, maybe he will posess the ice stone later on

I honestly don’t like that because I love Somin as Naksu & her chemistry with Uk, I’d rather not have her back if she isn’t the protagonist

the thief knows about her family though, she even used it to try to get inside Chwiseanru that means Buyeon atleast knows about her family, she can detect energy so she can easily go home, she not just ordinary blind person

but how would the thief knew of her family if Buyeon does not remember?

The real question for me was how did Buyeon not able to find back home? did she lost her memory? we getting amnesia part here?

Part of me has the craziest theory that maybe Buyeon went Avatar and was inside ice the whole time till she matures. idk lol anything is possible at this point. The thieft knew Mudeok was from a famous family so I doubt Buyeon had amnesia.

It’s so childish, like be annoyed and hate on her when she actually does something annoying or evil, but hating on her just because she starts liking Jang Uk was peek childish behavior.

I can hate Choyeon bec she was truly a bitch but hating on Yun Ok just seems childish.

- Park Jin
- Jin Mu (he was former assistant of Jang Gang)
- Queen (Jin Mu could have told her)

Songrim does not know, Songrim is a place, so we shouldn’t address it like a person. Park Jin might suspected that JinMu already knows about Jang Uk being born with King’s Star.

The current King does not know about Jang Uk being born with King’s star that’s why he kept looking for female that could produce him with heir that will be born with it.

the double standard can be seen, since most viewers are female, it’s entirely ok for female lead to have harem, but it’s somehow not okay for the male to have one.

A lot of kdramas always even put second female lead as a bitch, while second male lead as a saint. Name a second female lead who is too good for the male lead and sacrifice her one sided love? I can’t even come up with one where there are a huge list of second male lead that was on such category.

The reaction to Heo Yun Ok here show the double standard. Choyeon was painted as a bitch. Yun Ok didn’t even do anything evil YET, but was already hated by many, but ya’ll don’t react the same to Yul or Crown Prince. I find it so childish.

why is this not available on iwant tv or tfc? I love the korean version but my mom doesn’t like watching with subtitles so filipino version would be great
