Ah I really enjoyed this series. I’m still wondering who the person that went up to Mr. Seo at the end is. Hopefully, it’ll be revealed in another season. Unless it already was revealed in the Webtoon? I have a feeling that they were involved with each other anyway.

Ah same I liked his acting too. Don’t know why people have to be so harsh towards someone pursuing their dreams. Like, they’re just tv shows, there’s a ton others to watch if someone’s acting bothers them to the point of crudeness

Ouch, I liked the acting much better than plenty of bl series out there. There’s no need to be so harsh and aggressive towards someone that doesn’t know you and is simply doing something that they enjoy. Yikes 😬

AHA I just keep myself busy and then everything’s good. I always enjoy dramas better when I don’t have to wait to finish them, so that’s a motivator too.

It’s okay so far, but I’m not the biggest fan of what’s going on in episode 9. Mork is completely dismissing Pi’s feelings— making him jealous so he accepts you faster? Uh, no, fuck that. People are allowed to be hesitant in their commitment. And they’re also allowed to be pissed off with a bunch of obsessive harassment from shipping strangers. Mork’s acting like a child, and that’s just like GMM to not allow a character to be realistic and angry without making them seem like the one in the wrong.

I wish Taiwan would create versions of these stories so that there would be way less censorship within them

I know right? Why ruin a good concept and story that was originally representation of the lgbtq community by taking out one of its main components? It’s so ridiculous. If China wants everything to be straight with their homophobia, they should leave these stories alone and create their own ideas. Obviously, the companies that create these cannot do anything about the censorship, but still. If they can only go as far as bromance, they should leave originally gay stories alone and create new bromances themselves.

Am I supposed to be robotic...? I'm, again, only stating my opinion-- which, as you said, I am entitled to. This is a perfectly acceptable relationship between a queer couple, and if you dislike its 'straightness', there are a thousand other sexual and/or romantic dramas and films with queer couples for you to watch instead.

Why not hire an actor that naturally speaks this way then? I do notice those characters that you speak of that are in practically every GMM bl series— I have a name for them and everything because I can always tell when they’ve included the stereotypical character. I agree that these are bad portrayals. I’m just pointing out that both ways seem like mockery. I suppose it’s not hat big of a deal, but it wouldn’t be that difficult to find an actor with a voice like this naturally (or even a gay actor that speaks like this too, if the voice was a must-have for some reason). I totally agree that there needs to be more gay characters in bls, instead of just the ‘only him’ vibe from them all. I’ve just never seen an actor change their voice for the part based on sexuality— it’s strange.

There people go again with their stereotypes of what a relationship is supposed to look like. Let them be and stop calling them straight just because they act different than other people in different types of relationships.

I looked on here to see if I recognized an actor in Episode 5. And then I saw that the three female cello players were further down on the list than the male one, and I was like oh my gosh. So freaking sad, but I love the representation, and it made me love the show even more than I already did.

My point was it’s kind of disappointing that they made him act like that in this as if there’s only one way to be gay.

After watching A Tale of 1000 Stars, I realized that that ‘Chonlatee’ or the actor for him speaks with a stereotypically ‘gay’ tone of voice if I remember what he sounds like in this correctly. I used to think that was how the actor sounded normally, but seeing him in A Tale of 1000 Stars, I realize that is not the case.

I really don’t need a gay person telling me that asexuals aren’t LGBTQ+, okay? Like I said, it’s up to an asexual to define themselves. I’m also done repeating myself— I don’t need to relate to wrongful sexual intercourse to either view it or know when it’s wrong. What kind of logic is that.
