Have you ever heard of common courtesy and decency in communication online? Eventually your rude behaviour isn’t going to be able to hide behind that innocent bunny of yours. Looking forward to it biting you in the ass
All the tropes you shit your pants over are BL BASICS and always have been. Either stop watching BLs or quit bitching…
Not all BL has super sexual features. Like I said, I don’t watch it for the sex. And I can still watch a show even if I don’t relate to it. I mentioned my asexuality in response to you stating that I have some fetish for this shit— which I don’t.
I never said being asexual makes me gay. Asexuality is part of the community, so acephobia I should have said. I’m thinking you have an issue with asexuals or have zero knowledge on them whatsoever.
And like all parts of the LGBTQ+ labels, they are flexible— just because I don’t like sex, doesn’t mean another asexual might not. It’s a whole complicated set of things that is up to the person that identifies with the label. Me not liking sex is a part of my ace identity. Like omg

Alright, I admit I was using the wrong term. Fetishizers are different than fujoshis. Still, if you like anything that was in this series, it’s fetishization. Maybe not simply being a fujoshi, but plain old fetishization. Thanks for educating me.

I have very few issues with sex outside of my own experiences. I don’t care if a show has sex, I’ll either sit through it or skip over it. That’s not even the pint here. There was rape. Rape isn’t fucking sex, it’s disgusting, and I’m sorry that that doesn’t go against your morals, but it does for a majority of decent people out there. And stop questioning whether I’m asexual or not, I really don’t need your invalidation right now, cause I don’t gaf about your pick and choose homophobia.

Not everyone watches shows to get sexual stimulation from them, Karen. I didn’t even finish the lame ass show. Unlike everyone else, I know how to turn away from a screen when I should. Once again, complaints will be held where they are due.

Um okay psycho. I don’t love rape— who the fuck loves rape. And I don’t live fetishizers either. I’m a super fucking asexual person and that shit is nasty. Does the fact that ‘millions of people’ like this shit make it okay? NO! You’re seriously messed up in the head.

Being a fujoshi isn’t a good thing? And I’m not one. It’s because of people like YOU that I’m afraid of what others might think if I make it clear that I like boy’s love. I don’t like toxic tropes. When idiots like you romanticize bad things like this, it puts a bad image on allies like me. You’re the negativity— You can’t simultaneously support a group of individuals as well as support bullshit like this that does nothing good for that group of individuals and their representation. Common sense much? And what the fuck does someone else’s sexuality have to do with anything that you’re trying to justify? You really, really aren’t good a providing a solid argument, you’re simply spewing bullshit disguised as facts.
Some people can't tell the difference between fiction and reality. It's just a show guys, no need to tell your…
What’s the point of watching a show if you can’t even share your opinion on it? Anyone who likes this shit is delusional. Fiction doesn’t give it a free pass to include harmful and horrible tropes like rape, incest, and fujoshis.
the straightest bl is back in action ?? let’s hope they act like MORE of a couple
@bibidibobidiwoo @1ella2 I have to apologize, I was almost completely wrong here. I was a little offended on a personal level, because these types of relationships are ones that I can relate to— little intimacy and lots of positivity. They’re the kind I like to see and would be the most open to taking part of if I ever dated. You made me feel like this wasn’t good enough to worthy of being a realistic relationship? But I realize that most people aren’t like me in that sense. I get that you didn’t mean they had to have sex scenes— I never meant that. And I also wanted to say that wanting more intimacy or other tropes is totally okay, as long as these types of things aren’t the sole reason you consume this type of media. I myself like certain tropes within shows I watch, like jealousy, dramatic scenes, chasing before catching, or other hardships that are realistically needed to overcome to come to a happy conclusion within a relationship. Wanting them to behave more like a couple is totally fine, and I realize that now. And in your case, it’s not fetishization, I realize that now too. I’m sorry for what I previously said, I just hope that you can be understanding and respectful to valid relationships like this too.
Proof right there that some of y’all bl shippers like to fetishize men kissing and think that they have to do…
Anyway, I understand what you mean. And no, I’m not one of those people (I don’t think). I just like to be respectful to all types of love and relationships. Even one as ‘boring’? as this one. Sorry if I offended you or whatever, but I’m really not in the wrong here.

I can relate to that. I’m just tired of people thinking intimacy or whatever this person wanted automatically is what automatically makes a couple a couple. I’m asexual and like when shows have less intimacy and such, so it’s annoying when people complain and think this kind of relationship isn’t good enough.
Totally agree with you. This is BL in the oldest and purest form, bl started out for the fujoshis and for the…
Same, I’m part of the LGBTQ+, but I’m a woman so sometimes it feels like I’m a fetishizer. I always try to be realistic and purely enjoy the content for its representation. I also always try to be as respectful and as I’m toxic as I can be when I consume this kind of media.
This was based on a novel? Anyway, they were 100% trying to make this series untoxic and wanted to expose the…
Hadn’t finished the episodes when I posted this. Then again, sorry I don’t always want to see , one again, toxic behaviour, and unnecessary behaviour within the shows that are supposed to be representing underrepresented groups in media. Like I said, you’re a fan of toxic stuff, and I’m not.
Totally agree with you. This is BL in the oldest and purest form, bl started out for the fujoshis and for the…
Thank you for agreeing! I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks this. These kinds of things make me feel ashamed for liking LGBTQ plus content, which sucks because I shouldn’t feel bad about it. We’re still advancing to a place where we get positive and realistic representation of these kinds of relationships and friendships. I don’t want things to start going backwards.
I’m really not a fan of shows using these pushy girls as reasons for two guys to start liking each other. It’s quite sickening. It’s like fetishizing in real life, which is not ok. So guys can’t have a healthy relationship without girls thinking they’re secretly ‘in the closet’? I get it, I like bl, but I’d never start shipping random people (THAT AREN’T EVEN IN A RELATIONSHIP) like I’m some crazy person that wants to objectify guys together. I’m supportive of all things LGBTQ+ irl, and if I saw a clearly gay, lesbian, etc couple in public, and I’d be joyed over their confidence and the representation of other sexualities. But treating them like their showpieces and like they’re better or special compared to straight couples is when it goes too far. That’s not okay. And I hate when shows use external forces as the beginning of attraction between MCs. So many shows use these characters and make MCs question themselves and their nonexistent attraction to each other— and thinking about how this forceful trope is the only reason why a relationship even began is so unrealistic. It annoys me to the core. I’m always worried that me liking bl media is going to turn into some kind of obsession or craze, or make me look like a fetishizer. The least I can do is point out the toxic tropes these shows use. And that’s only one of them that I’ve seen within the first 3 or so episodes— not to mention the insanity of the brothers to lovers trope and the toxic behaviour that they’re romanticizing here.
Honestly, I was really anticipating the scene where Nubsib beat someone up. I was constantly waiting for them…
This was based on a novel? Anyway, they were 100% trying to make this series untoxic and wanted to expose the issues within the bl industry. You clearly like toxic characters, which is fine, sometimes I like characters like that too. But that’s not what would fit best here, and toxicity isn’t always good either.
