I suppose you could look at it that way. I just really hate unnecessary drama when thinking about it being portrayed in real life and how some things can be ridiculously unrealistic or toxic. But I understand, thank you for your perspective

I agree that it’s lighthearted and not very serious, as most childish high school love is. I certainly hope you don’t think kissing and deep intimacy is required for the “real raw true love” you’re talking about though, because it’s not— that’s just lust.

Did anyone else think that Aoki totally overreacted to Ida teasing him in episode 9? I could never not tease my partner with some things. But it’s their relationship, they can be boring all they want. Still, he jumped to conclusions just because he was having harmless fun. Since when does teasing mean you dislike someone, especially in high school...?

It’s called censored bl because they are based on well-established bl novels from Chinese writers. Bromance is just a healthy friendship between two guys that’s free from toxic masculinity, which is what East-Asian shows do in general, and it’s fine. But a lot of the Chinese dramas free from straight romance with some ‘bromance’ present are censored bls.
