I actually didn’t mind their acting at times. This definitely isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever seen. It didn’t feel rushed or unusual to me at all. As for the quick feelings of Haebom— I somewhat relate that, as I sometimes develop feelings simply because I am liked. So it’s not as “unrealistic” as you make it out to be. It’s subjective.
So so for me. I was a little confused at times. I think this connected to me a little too much for me to enjoy it carelessly. I don’t think I could appreciate it well enough because of that.

I didn’t need a whole synopsis ha. I was simply stating that my expectations were high for the show because I loved SE. Anything can be compared anyway!

Though I totally agree with you that love can exist between people, and characters, without it clearly being expressed. It doesn’t make it any less valid. But I don’t think that’s what the directors were going for in this film.

I don’t mind that it’s not a BL either. People are mostly upset at the apparent queer-baiting from trailers and announcements and such. That’s the issue that they have with the movie. They used what looked to be like queer characters to gain more attention towards the movie. I think that’s what people are angry about.
I think there’s a fake kiss. Don’t diss the first season. It’s much better than this knock-off sequel.
It’s just strange to me to not watch a show if there’s no sexual-ish aspect to it like kissing. Just my thought. I wouldn’t watch this sequel though! Definitely don’t.
