I have a lot of feelings after these episodes:1. I’m so glad Wonshik chose Nozomi like yes man, do what you…
I agree with everything you said, although maybe in point 4, while I'm glad they did speak, to me it felt forced and not very genuine in both of them. I don't think Nozomi spoke her truth so she wouldn't start drama, and I think Rio only started it to look good. Still, to me the worst of them in the situation is Dongkyu, I don't think he handled it well at all. Rio gets so wasted when she drinks, she doesn't seem to know her limit. And totally agree, kissing when so drunk is wrong. I'm a bit confused by that ending in ep11, if Wonshik chooses Honoka then what's the point of all this drama? How are these people changing feelings so quickly lol it makes it look a lot less realistic, or their feelings are very superficial I guess.
Most likely an unpopular opinion but I'm not too excited about this drama so far. Don't get me wrong, they're cute, there are cute moments and it's entertaining at some points. The story seems so far quite cliché and it's not grabbing me. I think if they had made her get his powers in the beginning it would have been funnier and more interesting maybe. There is still long to go so I'm hoping it grabs me more in the second half... we'll see...
One thing I do not like for sure though it's those mini recaps they do all the time, they're just time fillers, they even include scenes that happened 5 minutes earlier in the same episode...
I think they only picked Dongkyu to partner with her to show how she moves on, otherwise I don't understand because…
I thought that too, they would have had a lot of banter and good vibes with the whole crew, it would have been nice to see. Hopefully next ep as you say. I've never seen anything from that production team before so I didn't know but I've been noticing it in throughout the episodes that they do seem to like creating drama as you say. So it's true that most likely they took Dongkyu for that purpose.
Idk man personally I didn’t like the way dongkyu was with nozomi during the BTS of their drama. Like bro isn’t…
I think they only picked Dongkyu to partner with her to show how she moves on, otherwise I don't understand because if they were sure in picking Nozomi it made so much more sense realistically to pick Wonshik, especially since the story's main character was mostly the guy. Wonshik showing his emotions for Nozomi would have worked so much better on screen, she would also have been better during filming in terms of the vibes and encouragement and it would have also given them some time to develop something, get a bit closer maybe. I feel they did Nozomi and Wonshik dirty there by picking Dongkyu, everyone had a bad time just because of that single decision... (Dongkyu included). Dongkyu gave me red flags from the beginning, he was way too charming in a textbook way instead of a more human, natural way. The episodes have only been confirming it as they go...
I wish Won Shik and Nozomi would have gone first instead of him and Honaka so he would have showed them his feelings…
Despite Wonshik's flaws in his audition with Nozomi, I still think he would have been a much better choice than DongKyu. Considering most of the drama was Dongkyu as main character, Wonshik would have been better to show the emotions from his side for Nozomi, it would have fit so much better for the story and would have given them a chance to develop a bit. I guess Dongkyu was only picked so they could show Nozomi finally moving on or something.
After ep 8-9 I wonder if Won Shik even suspect Hanoka has feelings for him now since she friendzoned him before…
Honestly I hope she doesn't pair with Wonshik. I wouldn't be surprised that if he did reciprocate her feelings now she would lose interest again. She said it herself that only when he distanced himself from her then she became a bit more interested and jealous. Recipe for a disaster relationship in my opinion.
I am not a fan of Rio either... I think she was hired to play the FL amongst the women like in most reality dating…
Totally agree. I think also that although it seemed a bit more muted in the last episodes, she was giving me the vibes of being a bit full of herself. Maybe I'm very biased because she reminds me in her way of speaking, in her actions and mannerisms to a friend I used to have, and she would stab you in the back. I also noticed that, can't remember which episode it was, when two of the others were invited to make a cameo in the filming, she was the one left behind, what I felt was a bit telling in terms of dynamics among the girls. Now she appears as very sad for Nozomi but to me it feels quite forced, especially considering she's the one that got in the middle, and I understand she wanted to try with Dongkyu and whatnot, but I think crying and feeling pity for Nozomi is just trying to generate sympathy for herself from the audience. Crocodile tears to me.
I feel bad for Nozomi because I don't think her acting is bad but she has been paired with the two worst actors of the guys in my opinion. Dongkyu as an actor I think has potential but he's a long way, and Taegyun gives me the feeling of having the emotional capabilities of a rock. I find him super inexpressive when acting, paired with the fact I think he's creepy as I mentioned before. BUT, I feel like Nozomi might not be cut to be an actress for now if she takes failure in that way. She's clearly sensitive what is not bad per se, but in such a savage industry I feel she could end up developing serious issues. I mean ideally she should already be looking for help on that, I don't think friends around her will be able to help nor I feel she wants the help even (as seen when Wonshik tried to approach her).
Also, unpopular opinion but I'm probably the only person that is not a fan of Rio, nor I personally think she was the best for the role in episode 7. I don't dislike her, I just don't like her much.
Random thoughts on the guys:Dongkyu: idk why but he gives me the sly opportunist vibes (which might just work…
I agree with all you said. I would only add that Jihyuk started ok for me but now I'm not keen. He went over the top in the last episodes and they're not even that close, it only makes me think how he could get with an actual girlfriend, and whether he apologized genuinely or for the cameras I'm still not sure. So it's giving me the appearance so far of Nice Guy but actual possessive/jealous mess. Hopefully I'm wrong but... At this point I only like Wonshik haha
is it just me or the taegyun guy looks really creepy when he smiles??? none of the boys are good at acting tbh…
Same with taegyun, although in general tbh, not even only when he's smiling. He gives me a bad vibe and I don't know why... But totally, when he smiles it's next level for me
Brilliant review. Or should I say that you wrote it all what I felt about this drama. This drama do have some…
Thank you very much! I totally agree with you, SML was very filler and I'm glad that at least they were brave enough to keep him dead in the end if only because it would have been very predictable otherwise. Maybe I'm just weird like that, but I've worn sunglasses in the night in the city being silly with friends, and you can still see, especially lights, so when it's revealed that it's sunglasses I thought it was very weak, as you say it doesn't cause complete blackouts and she should have still been able to hear stabbing or screaming or anything.
Same here, most of my points go for the comedy, it was a good one :D
They managed to get my boy killed, I am devastated 💔 I don't know where this is going anymore but the writer…
Wait for it because he might not be dead. They always like to tease about these things, like how they framed Kwang Shik as the killer at the end of the previous episode and then it wasn't him. I'm not going to believe he's dead until I get confirmation in the next episode...
To be honest my least favourite character in this series is the FL, she's too childish at times. I find her kind of frustrating. She gets herself into trouble by doing as she pleases and then she becomes the damsel in distress. Everything else about this drama I like very much so far and I hope the ending doesn't disappoint.
I feel the same with "great concept-poor execution". I don't get why people shouldn't hold the drama accountable…
Totally agree with you. Precisely what the webtoon did was limit the amount of world building and details so that you would focus on the story at hand, but in the show they have decided to make more world building and so far the execution and writing of those parts are a miss to me.
The whole show is about reincsrnation. Unless you are reincsrnated and can remember all your past lives, your…
I know, I've read the webtoon. You're not explaining yourself too well, but I'm going to assume that you mean that because it's fantasy you can't complain about plot holes, what it's simply hilarious. And same, just go and enjoy the story or go watch something else instead of coming here to tell people what they should or not do :)
Rio gets so wasted when she drinks, she doesn't seem to know her limit. And totally agree, kissing when so drunk is wrong.

Is "Falling in love like a romantic drama" any good? Do they stir in more drama than in this one?
I've never seen anything from that production team before so I didn't know but I've been noticing it in throughout the episodes that they do seem to like creating drama as you say. So it's true that most likely they took Dongkyu for that purpose.
