Oh man....This is looking like it's going to be over-the-top amazing and with the two of them how could it not be!!! And if, as many have noted, it ends up with a L&P vibe, well...that means it has managed to hit that high a bar so that's only good news! I've got everything crossed that we have a few more platforms for streaming when it finally does come out as I don't subscribe to MGTV...😕...https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vJsvpI4c_wI 🔥
Can I say how TOTALLY excited I am to finally see Ci Sha in an leading man role!!! And even though he does a great villain and wonderful sidekick, he has been totally overlooked for leading roles... I mean....have you LOOKED at this man...jezzzzz....
Hope this is a winner for Rowoon! And kudos to the director for seeing beyond his incredible looks and giving him the opportunity to extend his acting repertoire.
Just did a rewatch of possibly one of the BEST dramas to come out of 2025; Beyond The Bar. Also finished a newer one Love Scout...it was a pretty "vanilla" drama just OK. I am now dipping into an oldie I'd had on my list for a while...Descendants Of The Sun, so far it's also just OK, mostly it's turned out to be a prep for My Youth in how to stare at the beautiful face of Song Joong Ki...😉😂
That's the thing about DUIs - they put other people at risk. And he wrote in his apology that they are assessing…
I get it and I totally agree...I have been part of an organization here is the States called MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)...and I know the damage it can do. If they are accessing damages sounds like property damages not human...still it is no excuse. I just think they seem to go to an incredible extreme for a DUI...and again had he killed someone it is a different story, and I also believe he should be held accountable but this seems extreme, and in other cases I've read about, too; ending a young person's career over a DUI. Maybe the industry needs to rethink about how drinking is usually portrayed in dramas, or how prevalent it is in dramas...and change that? People emulate what they see, and seeing drinking and drunkenness as much as we do really anesthetizes ones attitude towards the behavior and can almost create an atmosphere of positivity towards the activity...
Give me a FRICKIN' BREAK Korean Film censors...REALLY???? a DUI????!!! Did he kill someone, Did he destroy property??? This is one of the things I have such a hard time understanding. OK, I understand it's not a great image...but does everyone in Korea lose their jobs, or lose their spouses, or totally lose their reputation for a DUI? I find it also RATHER IRONIC that in almost e.v.e.r.y. KDrama drinking/getting drunk plays a major part and is NEVER dealt with in such an absolute way...pretty hypocritical Korean film industry...
