Why is he now so fearless? So powerful to kill these enemies without getting hurt? Amazing fight but that thing is lingering in mind. It feels like he is ling jing yu (noble aspiration's Cheng yi character).. You know what I mean he is powerful, skilled, smart, passionate and righteous. Shouldn't he be struggling a lil and upgrade by practicing and learning martial arts?

I think story and acting so far good enough but some actors who are main lead aren't really looking (popular) so the whole show is single handedly gonna carried by Cheng Yi. I always thought how hard it is to do martial arts thta not many actors are good in it. Truth to be told some scenes of soldier's (no leading actors) fighting were unrealistic like one was protecting QS in ep 7 bfr killing qin guy. So the one who killed that soldier didn't even push the sword thro. Again when the only spy of LSF was exposed the way he killied himself was weird and it was really fake. Yiren and and the other brother's make up make them look too old. There are these really small details I noticed. I am loving this show so far. But Cheng yi is best in his parts. Tho it seems like I normal XMM in a month or so becomes fearless QS. This is the onky thing that is not goig well with me. Ep 2 he is afraid of blood then somehow killed fu tain yi (Shan gudao🤭), expression says how much he is guilty and scared. But with modern antics single handedly killed both qin guy and poison boy. The fight scenes are reward for the eyes.

I know what you mean but many dramas (c) are really low rated even after years have passed. I haven't used IMDB that much out of cdramas as I watch then mostly. Kiwi is the name of Cheng Yi’s fandom. I know IMDB rating is imp but we can't trust the rating there always as less viewers are rating and more hater. You can see two people even wrote reviews already one praising and one is dissopointed by everything rating 1 and having watched 40 ep while just 10 are arlir aut only. If not hater then why? Do you think haters were not behind that incident framing li kai xin?

So what? Mdl rating counts still. I personally tend watch good rated dramas. Many great dramas don't have proper anything in IMDB. Maybe it applies for non asian shows but asian dramas are not even updated. No one uses IMDb for dramas. So who is rating so low before even half of the show has passed? Seriously 4/10? If not us fans or casual viewers ( nobody uses IMDB for cdrama) then who is giving ratings. Even if kiwi's rate they will rate higher whatever happens. So our assumption is not totally base less.
