i love all the actors so much but this script is so fucking SHITE, my lord... ππ it's literally comical at this point- every new thing that happens, i'm just like 'sureee, why tf not'
Agree, but also I liked that they followed the novel. They can just make season 2 to fill in the missing pieces.…
i would LOVE it if we actually got a season 2, but i just don't see it happening tbh... & i might not exactly want that, either? i'd much prefer new shows for both couples :p i definitely agree with you about the whole gao tu's alpha friend not being there thing, tho- that was a good change to make!
They could have definitely changed it a bit for the better in the actual show. It's a shame.
exactly my thoughts!! since it was nongjian themselves working so closely on the show, they definitely could've changed things for the better, but them sticking so close to the novel makes me think that they genuinely thought nothing needed to be changed, which SUCKS because the novel really treats langtu as a mere afterthought :((
i'm sorry to say this, but the ending feels rushed because that's EXACTLY how the novel ending goes lmao- it, too, glosses over a bunch of shit we'd like to see with our main couple and ESPECIALLY gao tu & wenlang's entire arc is left at a really unsatisfactory place, unfortunately :(( so the drama's biggest problem (for me) was following the novel a little TOO closely...
Racing cars and being pregnant are pretty much mutually exclusive activities. That would have a serious impact…
for sure, but let's be honest- it's not like they're constantly racing, even in season 1, so hypothetically, we could totally finish the racing season / championships and then have time for a (safe) pregnancy while the non-racing plot unfolds :p
so many 'mama and papa' haters that i, as a fellow freak & true omegaverse enjoyer, feel the need to voice out that i actually think their little schtick is adorable & silly & i LOVE IT every time it happens lol ππ since the 'omegaverse' part of the show was so heavily mellowed out in the first season & will probably be even more subtle in the second one, i will absolutely eat up any reminder of the promised premise of the show (i.e. babe being heavily impregnable & charlie threatening to do that impregnating lmaooo) p.s. take nothing i say seriously please π
So, I saw somewhere in todayβs ep heβs gonna get hit by a truck... does that mean the next ep is gonna be…
definitely no amnesia arc (although i don't remember the truck bit in the novel either), but there was a bunch of hurt/comfort cause heejoo was obv hurt after her fall
Coming of the back Peaceful Property- I just have to say Book is phenomenal. The whole scene where he gets increasingly…
depends on if you're planning on watching them all, & whether you prefer watching the bad ones first & leaving the good for later lol but basically, enchante is the worst of the bunch, just a forgettable, fairly-fluffy romcom (enjoyable if you don't think too much about it, but skip if you want) a boss and a babe was a MARKED improvement, although still just a fluff-fest of a romcom. but this one cemented my love for forcebook as for only friends, i haven't actually gotten around to watching yet (which is shocking for me because i LOVE the entire cast lol) but i've heard great things about it, although obv the point of the show is to have toxic characters fuck around with each other in increasingly-interesting combinations lol so that's the vibe there
as both a gawin AND mike fan, i was honestly happy with either choice, but i'm just hoping that there's no bad blood between mike & krist & that mike soon gets his flowers in the form of a main lead too, because he seriously deserves it <3
i find your incredulousness about this so freaking funny, but as an asian person, i can tell you that YES, people do indeed throw water out of their windows onto the street lmao ππ maybe not in the better areas, but its quite commonplace in less-posh ones.
i am SO freaking exasperated at the fact that miho is dying because it seems like such a fucking cliche for her to have a deadly disease but at the same time it actually makes total sense for the story??? like ashgdfkdsga i wish it didn't have to happen lol *and please please PLEASE let's not let her die in the finale and reduce her character to just 'emotional fuel for the male lead to get angry and resentful and crush his enemies'... let's be better than that, okay? :p
this is just my personal opinion, but i REALLY don't think that choi doha and juhee are the power couple most people seem to think they are... ππ hear me out, now: choi doha, as much as we'd like to believe that he has redeeming qualities (because he HAS shown some in the drama), has also shown himself to be a master manipulator and the series' true antagonist. in my opinion, although juhee does tend to seem as if she's totally okay with everything he does: the truth of the matter is that she doesn't KNOW him fully- she doesn't lnow the extent of his crimes (which are literal MURDER!!) and doha has been lying to her since before their marriage ever happened, PLUS despite the fact that he MIGHT have actually fallen in love with her, that doesn't negate the fact that he's been manipulating and using her and her feelings to satisfy his little revenge fantasy all this time. of course, this is not to say that juhee is a perfectly good person: her charactere makes me really sick because she DOES seem to be a good person with strong morals but she has shown to ALWAYS support her family (the chairman and doha) despite knowing the ghastly things they do. still, there have been so many times when we've seen doha emotionally manipulating juhee into staying by his side and even making her somehow justify lying to her most of their time together. i haven't forgotten those evil little smiles he flashes when she's not looking!
to the people being weird about miho supposedly 'pulling away' form changho & their relationship not being as strong in recent episodes: what the fuck??? miho literally had her perfect little apple-pie life (apart from the money problems, but that's just the middle class curse) ruined and her loving husband ripped apart from her only to watch him slowly become this unfamilar, violent, frankly SCARY person (as much as i LOVE PCH's character development into a badass lol)... y'all expect her not to be scared of him when he's literally beating a man to death in fornt of her??? bffr... BE FUCKING FORREAL, GUYS- COME ON!
