I only saw Full House out of this list and yeah, it's abslutely better than the Korean version. However, I noticed…
Soo true, I was one of those people too haha. But I ended up enjoying other thai dramas too, even the ones that included rape scenes. I was disgusted by them at first, but when I watched too many lakorns my head ended up in an entire different realm whenever I watch them and begin to not caring much.
I wasn't really impressed by Reply 1997, would anyone recommend this show? But then again I didn't like Reply because of the dense female lead who didn't know her own heart and kept giving mixed signals
Suffered the same problem as many rom-com... the main couple didn't get along at the half of the drama and the rest was all about the separation angst and how they conquer mountain and ocean to be together... how are we supposed to believe they could die without each other when they didn't even have the guts (and reason, apparently) to confess their love to each other
I just started watching this drama. This is my first time watching a thai drama. Can anyone recommend a very interesting…
Try Panyachon Kon Krua, it was pretty 'harmless' compare to the others, but nevertheless enjoyable and the leads' chemistry was great... I mean Full House was my first thai drama too and it was a misleading introduction to thai dramas because there's rarely any thai drama like this one
Love love love the two leads. Reaaally need to pair up again, the sooner the better. As for Karat, I actually like her quite a lot. She's one of those spoiled, extravagant rich girl that actually knows her line and when she loves, she loves sincerely (and shows it in cute ways). I love these kind of characters better than the ones that portrayed like saints. I honestly thought that her crazily jealous behavior was acceptable even though it could be too imposing. I mean she went through a lot, and she clearly was traumatized. She needed her guy to be perfectly like Khun Pisut, no more no less.
As for Khun Pisut, I believed he didn't need her as much as she needed him, but honestly I think this guy would survive and live a good life just fine even if he ended up being single his whole life. At the end of the day, he decided to get back with his wife because he just adored and loved her that much.
If it's not for Kim and Nadech I would drop this show like a hot potato. Drama wasn't really my genre. I finished this only for the couple yet honestly the sweet scenes between the main couple bothered me a lot because it felt like they're just inserted randomly to the script, they weren't integrated to the plot nor they included any character developments or revealed depths, just random fanservice. Even so, I like the main couple from the get go and never liked them any less despite my waning interest to the couple's dynamic (it's repetitive and not smooth), or no matter how dumb and unlikable Pit was. Guess that's the magic of lakorn for me.
and all the staring between the main couple quickly became annoying when you know nothing would happen anyway. the main couple was married but never felt that way to me. but then again, that's how most of drama with marriage hijinks are like.
Did anyone like this lakorn enough to download the subtitles from viki before some of it went down? Or even better, do anyone know how to contact the subbers?
I know people are saying that Prin (Mark) and Urassaya (Yaya) couple was lacking of cute scenes. But I didn't need that and for me this couple is one of my favorite lakorn couple since it reminded me of Maru and Eungi from kdrama Nice Guy; bitter and angry female lead paired with a quiet yet cocky male lead with hidden intention. One of the few respectable lakorn where there's actually an interesting and well-thought storyline. Finally not something where everything's there for the sake of the couple.
Since I'm more of couple's dynamic gal rather than couple's chemistry gal (honestly i don't get what people're talking when they mention 'chemistry') I actually like this couple. They're mature and comfortable around each other
One of the most bearable lakorn. I get it, people watched lakorn for the pairing, they wanted to see the male and female lead grow from strangers to lovers, and of course their cute scenes, and most of all; the chemistry. This one sold so well in that department. And there's no mistress! There's a b***h but she's not preying the male lead! The male lead isn't a mamma's boy! Both the leads are funny and cute and overall likable (they're still kind of dumb and lacking in common sense, but oh well)!
I guess that's refreshing enough.
Everytime that Pong guy is onscreen I just want to pull his hair so hard till his head's skin came off or shove his head with a bulldozer. I hate him. I hate his hair. I hate him. I blame him for every suffering Bow had to endure for the entire drama. I actually wanted to be one of the characters and beat him up. I just hate him.
And even though Bow is fierce and all, she must be a masochist. That's the only acceptable explanation.
Also, was there REALLY no other conflict that the scriptwriters could think of besides misunderstandings? Not to mention it dragged till the last minutes of episode 15.
Risa is love. Contrary to her outer appearance, she's actually pretty quiet, neither girly nor cheerful, yet thoughtful of others without being a pushover or total saint. She looks so fragile that it surprised me how strong she actually is, carrying all the wounds she has in her heart without burdening anyone. She doesn't pretend or force herself to be happy and she barely does any pity party, she neither ask for help nor love because she thinks she doesn't deserve any of those. My favorite heroine ever.
Anyway, what the heck is Matsuda Shota doing here?
