Such a great show. I went from hating the characters to tolerating them to being angry and loving them at the same time to hoping they'd change to be better people since I wanted each of them to be happy so much.
Lol, I can't even stand the first 2 eps. Can't they just take the shot normally? Feels like watching a cheap teenage horror movie, plus the acting, I just can't take it seriously.
On a scale of 1 to 10: how violent is this drama? Meaning, how bloody and/or gory is it? I know there are going…
not at all, just some sound and implying scene then you got a headless body falls and that's all. it didn't even show the actual beheading. there's a scene where a head is lying around but it was kinda subtle you might as well miss it. i just mentioned it because it was kinda rare in kdramas, but then again I don't watch that many kdramas
It got interesting after ep 25 or so, got real good from ep 40 onward, but sadly ended with unnecessary 5 last eps. Didn't like: - Political battles without much thought behind their strategies - Directing is tasteless - Useless good guys except for Deokman and Chunchu Liked: - Mishil and Deokman's dynamic and characterization - There's only one field battle stratagem but I like what I got - Thought-provoking dilemmas (not always though) with not so easy way out - People turn sides depend on situation, it gives a realistic feel Side note: I don't get Bidam's charm and I think Bidam x Deokman near the end is kinda forced, not that I care about that particular side plot though. My boo is Alcheon Rang
Does anyone have any good recommendations aside from the ones already listed, I'm looking for historical romance…
Hmm Scarlet Heart, Gong, Legend of Fragrance, Perfect Couple, but they're not really 'historical' though, more like romance drama comedy set in ancient setting (except for Scarlet Heart). Also Qing Shi Huang Fei, Scheme of a Beauty
Consort Jing got to be my favorite female character in this show. So gentle and strong and clever, you can always rely on her. Also some love for (underrated) side characters Li Gang and Zhen Ping and Marquis Yan!
I love the couple's dynamic, can't wait to see them get together~ The writing acting directing and chemistry are…
thank you so much for ur suggestion :), yet I'm looking for a couple where both are headstrong and proud, like this one, Divorce Lawyers and Marriage not Dating?
I love the couple's dynamic, can't wait to see them get together~ The writing acting directing and chemistry are top notch so far, I hope it will stay that way, especially the characters. Of course I would love some character development but I would hate it if the characters have a change of personality suddenly and illogically because of bad writing. Anybody know any rom-com with similar couple?
Am I the only one thinking that they might actually be siblings? Although that concept might be too much for Korean…
actually I've been thinking about that too, what's with the mother's severe disapproval of Ri Hwan and Haeng Ah's relationship and her attachment to Haeng Ah's father... maybe they shared the same father lol
Actually this one feels... genuine? Not as manipulative as other kdramas? That's why I'm liking this drama so far even though I don't really 'ship' the main couple, but I do think they're right for each other
hyeong gu and hyojoo aka the lawyer brother and his assistance are the best part of the drama the writers made…
I'm liking this couple the most too nowadays, my fave couple changes from time to time depend on who's getting the most interesting storyline at the time. Hyeo Joo's weirdness reminds me of the secondary female lead from Wild Romance (she got her own loveline with another eccentric character you should check that drama out if you haven't). In recent episodes the main couple and the youngest couple's main conflict are parents' approval and tbh I don't find it exciting. I like them more when they're still getting now each other and gradually falling for each other.
