There's so much winds involved in this low budget drama (that apparently only has one sponsor which is a Viagra company lol) and the male lead is so hot even tho he has zero-to-minus acting skill (except for the last scene he NAILED that one, period) but in this kind of show wtf care 'bout acting?! This drama is all kind of nuts and I love it
A really fun psychological suspense. The setting feels surreal yet somehow still rooted from basic human values. The bad guys' portrayal is a bit over the top at times but I guess that's the style of this show. Also, Matsuda Shota is sooo pretty in this drama XD
Really good dorama, full of naturalness (this is actually a word!) and sincerity. Especially love it when they don't add any background music at all whenever the characters exchange important conversation, I can actually feel their shift of emotions. Kanno Miho is adorable af as Mieko. Though I do wish they focused a bit more on the romance since the lead couple had good chemistry, but even so this drama is good nonetheless.
I dropped this drama after the first episode because Ayano Go's character died. Well, I started to watch this…
He did, only in the last minutes of the show tho. But his character pop up quite frequently in flashback, you're going to see bits of him almost every eps
Love it. It's quirky, honest, and dark. The downside is Shibata does all the work, while the other cops are either bad at their job, or they do nothing at all. Also, I didn't know Watabe Atsuro was such a cutie back in the day
Interesting cases, awesome directing especially the last episode. Not really fond of overall writing and acting tho. It has several red herrings that just rub me the wrong way, but it has its moments where it shines.
I have heard a lot of good things about this drama so I decided to start watching it. I have only seen 4 episodes.…
It does pick up. I was hooked around ep 9-10. I don't want to force my opinion or anything but I do think it would be too early to drop it at ep 4.
Also, I don't think liking sageuks will guarantee you to like this drama, it is an entirely different beast aside from ancient setting and plot revolving politic. There're differences in style of presentation and emphasizes. For example sageuks have more dramas going on, and are more dramatic in its choice of background music and acting style so it's easier to hook general viewers, imo.
And lol Sebumi's pretty useless. It's kinda unfair that Toma got the brain and the SPEC in the end, I was hoping Sebumi would get one to balance Toma's intelligence. But I guess it makes more sense that the sibling would develop SPEC rather than Sebumi randomly got one.
I love this sh*t. It can be unbelievably ridiculous at one second then unbelievably brilliant in the next. Love the pairing too. Usually in this kind of procedural drama that involved a pairing as the leads, one is unique and one is normal, yet in this drama both are super quirky XD
