Except that there are a lot of BL's with intimate chemistry between male actors? The shows with only hints at bromance are usually chinese dramas. It's mostly GMMTV BL's who are always very safe and sanitized, they know how to pick a good book to adapt, but they always mess up the adaptation part, i think their writers have a template for writing 12 episodes, since literally the same plot can be found in Theory of Love and Dark Blue Kiss. They pick two hot guys, get them together as a couple, break them up for silly reasons, end the show with them back together, insert someone misunderstanding or crying or evil girlfriend along the way. I thought studio Wabi Sabi was awful, but GMMTV is coming for that crown.

Yes, all of this! I was reading youtube comments how Bohn's love was one sided, Bohn is more invested in the relationship bla bla bla and was thinking did we watch the same episode?!? Like they came for the trip wearing freaking couple shirts smh... SarawatTine can not relate :P

I don't know what it is with this show, but i was laughing so much this last episode. I haven't seen such a genuinely funny show since Modern Family. And poor Ting Ting on the bus, exploding with frustration, i feel ya, gurl, i feel ya. Oh yes, wanted to say how impressed i was with fashion choices this episode. Frong came through with his shirt and Duen still gets the best dressed crown, however Ram in the park was also on point.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it already, but he showing up at Tine's room, and being like "I'm here to pick up my guitar" I was thinking that's it?!? You literally spent 12 episodes, each 45 minutes chasing this guy, and now you don't have anything more to say? So weird and unrealistic...

I really like him with his light brown almost red hair. It suits him pretty good. I was shocked in interviews that his natural hair color is as dark as Poy's.

This is a very good summary of MODC, you really hit all major points. I have one note though, it also started getting boring after they got together, same as 2gether.

Well, all of you wrote a lot, so... I'm keeping it brief. Congrats on the show for consistently not making sense of its own plot. That was some true dedication there by the writers. Oh well, it is what it is. The last episode was so boring, i had to read youtube comments to entertain myself. When and where honey toast was mentioned before? Suddenly people were ordering 100 honey toasts and laughing as if that was some inside joke, so strange... There were moments that I enjoyed and maybe in the future I will rewatch this show. It gets a 8/10 (mostly for effort), however a more realistic score would be 5/10. For a rom com, there were zero funny moments, and the romance part was questionable at best. A lot of uneven acting and cringy plot lines. There was one good crying scene though, last episode with Tine in hospital. First time I believed he is actually sad. I hope new BLs start appearing again, I'm left only with My Engineer on my list.

Well, after he was thrown out in the streets like a dog, she didn't have to use Jenny of course. He had no other choice. It's obviously important for you to defend her actions for whatever reason. I think her and Tae Oh deserves each other, since they are both trash.

Yes, she was giving up on him by not getting an abortion. Very interesting way of giving up. I wonder how that would've worked out for her nine months later when she would've had the baby and her parents would've pressed her to who the father was. It was all a ploy for her to get Tae Oh to do as she wanted. She knew he was in love with her so she wanted to manipulate the situation. She was playing the game as he was. At the funeral her presence was totally not needed, it was a power move, she didn't want Tae Oh to see Sun Woo taking over and controlling the situation and how good she was with managing things. She wanted to insert herself once again and show "she was there for him" at the most inappropriate time for everybody except herself. She doesn't care about anything except her own self-interest. The pregancy maybe was not planned, but she went to Sun Woo deliberately after she did the self test, that was a 'it's now or never" moment for her and it was 100% planned. She is a perfect case study of someone who is a sociopath enough to dabble in emotional manipulation, but not smart enough to actually succeed.

Haha the revisionist history! You tried it chile... Not even in a paralel universe you can paint her actions that she wanted to help Tae Oh, it was for her own selfish reasons. Why was she so clingy on the phone, she told him everytime i call you you have to pick up, even though she knew he was with his wife, she showed unannounced at his mother's funeral to cause a scene, and the whole getting pregnant was her final straw to push him to leave Sun Woo. Even Sun Woo commented at the medical examination "you haven't heard of protection?". She did it all on purpose. Tae Oh is also to blame for gaslighting her, however he was deeply financially dependent on his wife, of course he would not want to leave the golden hen for a spring chick that had nothing without her rich parents. And Da Kyung knew this, that's why she had to push Sun Woo to make the first step. Both of them literally had nothing beyond their "love" and Tae Oh is accustomed to a certain lifestyle. That's why he was hesitant to do anything and he was hoping for that "investor" or " movie success" before he made any steps, but Da Kyung was not having it.
