Aaaah same sis! My fantasy when watching these shows is not the kissing or sex scenes, but that there are people who would do what Man is doing, being open and clear that they want one person without playing games. I feel like everyone recently is into open relationships, open marriages, threesomes, foursomes, chatting/flirting with 10 people at the same time, polyamory. People like Man or Sarawat wanting one person are the real fantasy.

Well, i watched it a couple of years ago, so i don't remember every detail. However, the first 6 episodes of this version are basically season 1 of Doctor Foster. She is much more of a psycho in the original, the korean doctor I sometimes feel she is not smart enough and things just happen to her spontaneously. In the original she plans much more how to get revenge. It's also a bit more tacky, the sex scenes are 18+, not like here barely 13 :p her new love interest in this version, the psychiatrist, is also much more interesting, i think in the original he was the kid's school teacher and he was a bit annoying. I also like her ex-husband here more. He has a more mature, manipulative energy. In the original her ex was a bit of an idiot. Well, it's only 10 episodes, with beautiful music from Ludovico Einaudi, give it a watch.

Well, the dictionary says 'chaste' - not having any sexual nature or intentions :p I guess it's a good description for Duen, although Bohn might have different ideas ;) i just found it funny because it really is a good word to describe BohnDuen's romance :D i sure hope they have at least one kiss though or I'm rioting! For me, there being no kisses between Tine and Sarawat is the least problematic part of this show, but some people keep pushing this narrative. Whatever helps them sleep at night, I guess.

Yes, it's one of my all time favorite shows, it's exceptionally good. It's available on Netflix. This korean version follows the original pretty closely, but they did some changes for the better, and some for the worse.

Not a chaste romance hahahaha :D you made me laugh so much :D they still go for ice cream, so it will be in season 4 when we see any kiss between Bohn and Duen :p

I'm rioting that MekBoss already had their first kiss, while BohnDuen are still only going for ice cream! :P i guess we will never know what actually happened with the actor for Mek, but he is pretty good at acting, how he delivers emotions with just his face and eyes, he might be the best actor in this crew. Another beautiful episode, although I was not convinced by Ram's crying... On a side note, his dogs are so well behaved, they did not bark once or annoy anybody, I understand King, since I'm also afraid of dogs, but you can sense if the dog has a pleasant or aggressive energy, I would not be scared to pet Ram dogs.

I will look into it, i'm in the mood for some more meaty story than head patting Sarawat :p

How will this reach a wider audience in South Korea though, when it's only shown on TV in Japan??

This got me thinking how much I would like such a show, Gaslighting: the BL version, it would be delicious, especially if the characters are super hot so we see people here defending the bad guy. I can already imagine the glorious comments :D

Let's be honest here for a hot minute, most people watching BL are teenage girls from developing countries that will eventually outgrow this phase and forget their crazy rants on twitter shipping imaginary couples. However, I do hope when they have children of their own, they will be more tolerant if their child is gay. That is the only positive thing I can see from fujoshis.

To be honest, that whole scene at the restaurant was so weird and tonal mismatch for a cute, fluffy show like 2gether. It was so real and cruel, i was surprised they went in that direction.

As someone already mentioned in this very same comment section, the excuse that these grown-ass men didn't know they were playing a gay role is laughable. They do it so they can quickly get a bunch of screaming girls as followers and then they feign ignorance and give interviews that they want more "challenging" roles. Chile, bye!

While I do agree with you it's very random for Sarawat, this whole chain of events is a carbon copy of ToL's last episode, down to the crying scene.

Don't go giving now GMMTV more ideas in this direction! We want to move past this plot where people are getting ulcers in the penultimate episode from jealousy :p
